A protective conductor clamp having a mounting leg for mounting the clamp on a support rail and a contact rail that is connected electrically conducting to the mounting base and is provided with at least one conductor connection. The mounting base has shaped sections for holding a spring element for bracing the mounting base in the support rail. The shaped sections are formed by recesses in two parallel-arranged side walls of the mounting base, between which the spring element is inserted.

A female contact (1) for a plug and socket contact arrangement, comprising a spark protection sleeve for holding a socket contact (5) and provided with an insertion opening (2) for the plug pin (3) of said plug and socket contact, wherein the insertion opening (2) of the spark protection sleeve is arranged eccentrically, relative to the center longitudinal axis (6) of the socket contact (5) and wherein the opening rim (8) of the insertion opening (2) is slanted at an angle other than 90.degree. to the center longitudinal axis (6).

Plug contact pairing with spark protection

A connecting device for an electrical installation system for controlling consuming devices and/or for redirecting status signals over a data line with serial digital data transfer on an external bus line. The control and status signal information are passed through a bus coupling unit in a base module to a microcontroller of the base module. The microcontroller of the base module passes information and controls function-specific expansion modules with digital and/or analog inputs and/or outputs for the respective consuming devices. The base module and the expansion modules are connected in an internally communicating manner with the base module, the connection including an internal data bus interconnecting the microcontroller of the base module with microcontrollers of the expansion modules. Additionally, connector device are provide for interconnecting line power from the base module to and through the expansion modules.

Connecting device for an electrical installation system

An input/output module for a data bus includes an insulating housing that is secured on a support rail, with the housing being provided with terminals to receive wires of the bus at side-by-side positions on a surface of the housing. The housing is mounted so that it can swivel with respect to a supporting rail. A printed circuit board can be inserted like a drawer into the housing, and once the printed circuit board is completely inserted, the electronic components on the printed circuit board are electrically connected to the bus.

Decentralized input/output module for a data bus

An electrical terminal strip for potential multiplication includes an insulating terminal housing having a plurality of openings arranged in a row. A comb yoke extends in a direction of the row, and is located within the terminal housing. At least one terminal contact row is located in the insulating terminal housing, and includes a plurality of contact connections disposed side by side in the direction of the row. Each contact connection includes a conductor terminal element having a receiving space therein. Each receiving space is in registration With a respective terminal housing opening, and extends in a direction approximately perpendicular to the direction of the row. The receiving spaces receive respective protective conductors inserted from an outside of the terminal housing and through the respective terminal housing opening. Each contact connection further includes a conductor protecting element inserted into the respective receiving space. Each conductor protecting element is attached to the comb yoke to collectively form a one-piece comb-Shaped contact bar for electrically connecting the contact connections of the at least one terminal contact row to one another. The conductor protecting elements form the prongs of the comb-shaped contact bar. The conductor is clampable between the conductor protecting element and the conductor terminal element to contact the conductor protecting element and the conductor terminal element. At least one connector pin protrudes out from the terminal housing and is electrically connected to a contact connection.
