A brake system for a motor vehicle comprises a hydraulic line system with at least one normally closed hydraulic valve, wherein a final stage is provided for electrically actuating the at least one hydraulic valve. To minimize noise emissions, the final stage is a final stage with analog control and a computing unit is provided which is configured to determine a valve current based on a pressure difference across the hydraulic valve and to actuate the final stage to make the valve current available at the hydraulic valve.

Brake system with noise-optimized valve control

A solenoid valve has a valve plunger which is guided in a passage bore of a valve housing. The valve plunger with its valve closing element is held in a basic position by a restoring spring. The basic position opens up a valve passage in a valve seat. The valve plunger is arranged between an inlet and an outlet channel in the valve housing. A magnet armature provides actuation of the valve plunger. An inlet chamber is connected to the inlet channel between the passage bore and the valve seat. The valve plunger protrudes into the inlet chamber by way of a step section. As a result of being hydraulically impinged on by the pressure medium of the inlet channel an axial force is generated on the valve plunger that acts oppositely to the closing direction of the valve plunger.

In a parallel arrangement with respect to the restoring spring, a spring ring is arranged between the magnet armature and the magnet core, which spring ring has a smaller number of spring windings in relation to the number of spring windings of the restoring spring.

Electromagnetic valve, in particular for slip-regulated motor vehicle brake systems

A solenoid valve comprises a valve closing body, which can open or close a valve passage formed in a valve seat body which is pressed into a valve housing, and comprising a magnet armature acted upon by a restoring spring, arranged in a through-bore of the valve housing. In addition to a press-fit segment, the valve seat body has a clearance-fit segment along the outer jacket of the valve seat body. The clearance-fit segment has a reduced outside diameter in relation to the press-fit segment. The valve housing also has a tube segment, which deflects radially inward and which has a constant inside diameter that is reduced relative to the outside diameter of the press-fit segment. The tube segment thus deflecting into the clearance-fit segment of the valve seat body because of the elasticity of the tube segment.

In a method for optimizing the pressure setting accuracy, a hydraulic pressure is built up according to a pressure requirement of a hydraulic pump, and overflow control is performed using an analog-controlling hydraulic valve and a known control characteristic curve of the analog-controlling hydraulic valve, which overflow control counteracts a pressure build-up produced by the hydraulic pump that exceeds the pressure requirement. In addition to the known control characteristic curve of the analog-controlling hydraulic valve, at least one additional valve characteristic is taken into account for the overflow control.

A control valve conditioning method in an electrohydraulic pressure control unit comprising at least one electrically triggered solenoid valve that is controlled in an analog manner. The solenoid valve is operated at a specific operating current according to a functional correlation or characteristic diagram between the valve current and the differential pressure characteristic curve when the pressure is controlled, said functional correlation or characteristic diagram being stored in the pressure control unit. The method comprises the following steps: a) temporarily applying at least one anti-hysteresis pulse to the solenoid valve during which a current is set far below or far above the operating current in the valve; b) applying the anti-hysteresis pulse at the desired operating current before or during controlled operation, and c) applying the anti-hysteresis pulse wherein the duration is limited in such a way that the anti-hysteresis pulse has largely no influence on the brake pressure.

Method for conditioning a control valve

A pressure regulating valve having a compression spring fixed in a valve housing for positioning a valve plunger connected to a magnetic armature in the position above a valve seat and not electromagnetically excited, in order to create a connection between at least two pressure medium channels opening into the valve housing, and having a further compression spring disposed coaxially to the first compression spring in the valve housing, having the characteristic that the first compression spring is designed as a control spring forming a stroke and force-specific spring drive by adjusting the spring rates of both compression springs to the force/distance curve of an electromagnet by varying the current in an exciter coil, wherein the further compression spring is designed as a variably adjustable spring acting opposite to the control spring.
