An electro-mechanical actuator for generating an axial actuation force is provided. The electro-mechanical actuator includes an electric machine having a stator () and a rotor (). The electro-mechanical actuator also includes a spindle drive with a rotary element () and with an element that is movable in a translatory manner. A rotation of the rotary element () may result in a translatory motion of the element that is movable in a translatory manner. The rotor () and the rotary element () of the spindle drive are coupled to each other in a circumferential direction (U) such that a rotation of the rotor () results in a rotation of the rotary element () of the spindle drive (). A rotational play () is formed between the rotor () and the rotary element () of the spindle drive in the circumferential direction (U).

Electromechanical actuator for generating an axial actuating force

A method of operating an adjustable roll stabilizer () of a motor vehicle. The adjustable roll stabilizer () has an actuator () which can be rotated through a system angle (&#x3b1;) relative to a rotational axis () in order to twist two stabilizer sections (), connected thereto, relative to one another. The stabilizer sections () are each a radial spaced away from the rotational axis () and each is coupled to a wheel suspension (). The method includes controlling the actuator with a field-orientated regulator () as a function of input signals which include at least a target motor torque (), and checking the control of the actuator (), brought about by the field-orientated regulator (), for plausibility independently of the field-orientated regulator ().

Method of operating an adjustable roll stabilizer

A method for actuating an actuator device of a roll stabilizer for a vehicle. The actuator device has a supply line connection for supplying a supply voltage, a converter for supplying an alternating voltage using the supply voltage, and at least two phase lines for supplying the alternating voltage to actuator connections of an actuator which can be operated using the alternating voltage. The method has a step of reading an interruption signal, which indicates an interruption in the supply of the supply voltage or a deviation from the supply voltage at the supply line connection and a step of providing a protection signal at an interface with a protection device using the interruption signal in order to at least partly prevent a generator voltage which is or can be fed into the phase lines via the actuator connections from being forwarded in response to the protection signal.
