A system includes an electrical apparatus and a connecting device. The electrical apparatus comprises a control unit, a first interface device and a second interface device. A wire-bound first communication path is provided between the control unit and the connecting device via the first interface device and a second communication path is provided between the control unit and the second interface device. The system further includes a coupling device that can be set into a first coupling state and into a second coupling state. The first communication path is led through the coupling device in the first coupling state and is interrupted in the coupling device in the second coupling state. The control unit detects an attack on the system via the second interface device and, in the event of a detected attack, sets the coupling device from the first coupling state into the second coupling state.

An electrical apparatus includes a secured functional unit, an unsecured functional unit and a supply device. The secured functional unit has a first interface device for secure communication and a control unit, and the unsecured functional unit has a second interface device for non-secure communication. The secured functional unit and the unsecured functional unit are designed for communicating with one another. The supply device further includes a supply unit. A first power path for supplying the secured functional unit is arranged between the supply unit and the secured functional unit, and a second power path for supplying the secured functional unit with electrical energy from the supply unit is arranged between the supply unit and the unsecured functional unit. A switch is arranged in the second power path. A second power path in the switch is looped in the first switching state and disconnected in the second switching state.

Electrical apparatus having a secured and an unsecured functional unit

An electrical device includes a functional unit subdivided into a secure functional block and a non-secure functional block. The functional unit has a single transmission device for transmitting information from the secure functional block into the non-secure functional block. The functional unit has a first interface device and the first interface device is arranged in the non-secure functional block. A key is stored in the secure functional block. The secure functional block is designed to assign an identifier to a meaning using the key, to form a value pair from the identifier and a value, and to transmit the value pair via the transmission device in the non-secure functional block. The non-secure functional block is designed to transmit the value pair via the first interface.

To provide an improved accuracy of a determination of a conductivity of a medium a setpoint input impedance is specified, an input impedance is determined at the transmitting coil terminal, the terminating impedance is set such that the input impedance is matched to the setpoint input impedance, and a conductivity of the medium is determined using the adjusted input impedance and the set termination impedance.

A method for operating an inductive conductivity measuring device that has a transmitting coil with an input and a receiving coil, the transmitting coil and the receiving coil being inductively coupled to one another by an electrically conductive medium. An electrical preset alternating signal is generated and fed to the input of the transmitting coil. The method for operating an inductive conductivity measuring device is improved in that a frequency of a preset alternating signal is varied in a frequency interval, in the frequency interval, a frequency-dependent minimum input impedance at the input of the transmitting coil is determined using a response alternating signal, a minimum frequency of the response alternating signal is determined at the minimum input impedance at the input of the transmitting coil, and a conductivity of the medium is determined using the minimum frequency of the response alternating signal.

A method for determining a property of a medium, wherein an excitation signal is generated and transmitted into the medium, a measuring signal is generated from the excitation signal transmitted into the medium, the measuring signal is measured, an amplitude of the excitation signal and an amplitude of the measuring signal are determined, and the property of the medium is determined using the amplitude of the excitation signal and the amplitude of the measuring signal. To provide a method in which the accuracy of determination of the property of the medium is improved, the amplitude of the excitation signal is determined by digitizing the excitation signal and applying a lock-in method to the digitized excitation signal and determining the amplitude of the measuring signal by digitizing the measuring signal and applying the lock-in method to the digitized measuring signal.
