A medical endoscope with a sealed housing that defines a shaft. A working passage, which is open at its ends, extends through the shaft in a sealed manner in the longitudinal direction. The passage projects proximally beyond the housing and has a lateral branch passage for connection of a flow line. The branch passage is arranged on the housing so as to pass through the housing wall and a wall defining the working passage.

Endoscope with a working passage

An endoscopic optics fitted with lens elements and securing device to secure the element positions against shifting in case of being impacted. The securing device is a circumferentially expansible tube that jointly encloses, at least at one abutment surface, the adjoining ends of two lens elements while being of a lesser inside diameter than the outside diameter of the lens elements and being permanently prestressed against them.

Endoscope optics with device counteracting lens-element shifting

An endoscope optics including a housing receiving an image-observation device and a tubular stem. The stem is secured to a distal end of the housing. An image transmitting device is mounted inside the stem. The image-observation device is aligned inside the housing with the image transmitting device regarding image position and image center. An insert element is used to adjust the image-observation device and includes an outer contour, which allows stationary affixation to the housing, and an inner, axially continuous borehole, which receives the image-observation device in geometrically interlocking manner. The relative position between the borehole and the outer-wall contour inside the insert element is determined by spatial coordinates ascertained for the particular endoscope optics and specifying the position at which to adjust the image-observation device inside the housing relative to the image transmitting device.

Endoscope optics

An endoscope has a distal objective and proximal devices for image viewing including a fiber optical image guide, which extends within the endoscope between the objective and the devices for viewing the image and one of whose end regions is fixedly mounted on the endoscope and the other end region of which is axially movably mounted, and the image guide is secured in its proximal end region and the remaining distal end region of the image guide is freely movable, the objective also being movably received relative to the endoscope and the distal end of the image guide and the objective being connected together for common axial movement.

An endoscopic telescope has a system tube in which spacer tubes are alternatingly stacked with rod lenses each having an external diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the system tube and which have convex end faces supported against the axial ends of the spacer tubes. An end of at least one of the spacer tubes protrudes axially at an angle and at a rotational position so that it abuts the adjacent convex surface of a rod lens, thereby tilting the rod lens relative to the system tube axis. The spacer tubes and the rod lenses are mounted spring loaded between end holding devices in the system tube.
