A turbocharger device includes an annular spring element for axially clamping a guide device of a variable turbine geometry against a turbine housing. The annular spring element rests radially outwardly on the bearing housing and radially inwardly on a component of the guide device. The spring element has an annular radial outer flange in contact with the bearing housing, and a plurality of tabs which extend from the outer flange radially inwardly in the direction of the guide device and come into contact with a component thereof. An annular spring element for such a turbocharger is also provided.

A turbocharger has a shaft with a rotational axis, a radial/axial turbine wheel which is arranged in a turbine housing and which is connected to the shaft in a non-rotatable manner, and a bearing housing which adjoins the turbine housing and which contains a lateral wall facing the turbine housing. A sub-region of the lateral wall of the bearing housing forms a sub-region of the rear wall of the turbine housing. The sub-region of the bearing housing has two sub-sections, one of which runs diagonally to the rotational axis in an inflow direction of an exhaust gas flow conducted into the turbine housing and the second of which runs in a radial direction relative to the rotational axis of the shaft and parallel to the rear wall of the turbine wheel. The two sub-sections are connected to each other via an exhaust gas flow separation edge of the bearing housing.

An exhaust gas turbocharger includes a turbine housing in which a turbine wheel and a guide apparatus that guides an exhaust gas flow to the turbine wheel are disposed. The guide apparatus has two guide grate or screen rings that are rotatable relative to each other and each of which have guide vanes or blades. Conically running flow channels tapering in the direction of the turbine wheel are formed between the guide grate rings.

A turbine housing for a turbocharger has a plurality of interconnected housing parts. A central, one-piece contoured component that is constructed as a cast component or a forged component is provided on that side of a spiral channel which faces away from a bearing housing attachment flange in the turbine housing. The contoured component has a wall region of the spiral channel, a boundary wall of an exhaust gas inlet gap and a sealing contour region. The contoured component is connected to its adjacent housing parts, which are at least partly constructed as sheet metal molded parts, so as to form the turbine housing.

A guide vane of a turbo-compressor has variable turbine geometry, in particular for a motor vehicle. The guide vane has a profile with a lower side, an upper side and a front edge. The guide vane is characterized by a nose which extends along the front edge of the vane, from the front edge of the vane to the upper side of the vane and forms a low pressure on the upper side of the vane when waste gas impacts the guide vane. A guide vane configuration, a turbo-compressor, a motor vehicle and a method for operating this type of turbo-compressor are further disclosed.
