A suction device may include a suction channel, a first valve, and a second valve. The suction channel may include a first suction portion and a second suction portion disposed opposite one another in a transverse direction. The first valve may be arranged in the first suction portion. The first valve may include a first valve seat and a moveable first valve body. The second valve may be arranged in the second suction portion. The second valve may include a second valve seat and a moveable second valve body. When a transverse acceleration is equal to or greater than a predefined transverse acceleration, one of the first valve and the second valve may close while the other one of the first valve and the second valve remains open. When the transverse acceleration is less than the predefined transverse acceleration, the first valve and the second valve may both be open.

Suction device

A gerotor device for a pump apparatus is disclosed. The gerotor device includes at least two gerotor stages that respectively include an inner rotor rotating during operation about an inner axis with teeth projecting radially outside, and an outer rotor rotating during operation about an outer axis radially offset relative to the inner axis with radially inner open tooth gaps, in which the teeth of the inner rotor engage. A rotor body rotating during operation about a rotor axis includes radially open tooth gaps of a first gerotor stage of the at least two gerotor stages and teeth projecting radially outside of a second gerotor stage of the at least two gerotor stages. The tooth gaps of the at least two gerotor stages are fluidically sealed at least one of against one another and relative to a surrounding area.

Gerotor and pump apparatus having a gerotor device

A cooling system for motor vehicle with a cooling circuit, which includes one or more internal combustion engines, a pump and a cooling device, is described herein. The cooling system includes a short circuit line, which bypasses the pump by connecting a pressure side of the pump to an intake side of the pump. The cooling system further includes a valve device in the region of the short circuit line, and the valve device is switched between two or more positions. When the valve is in the first position, the entire coolant flow is directed through the short circuit line. Further, when the valve is in the second position, the entire coolant flow is directed through the internal combustion engine and not through the short circuit line.

Cooling system for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to closed impellers () for centrifugal pumps used for conveying homogeneous liquids, especially in cooling systems of motor vehicles. The aim of the invention is to develop a novel design of closed impellers () for centrifugal pumps used for conveying homogeneous liquids, especially in coolant pumps, such that closed impellers comprising single-curved blades () as well as closed impellers comprising three-dimensionally curved blades () can be produced at a low cost while the effect of cavitation wear is minimized on the parts/subassemblies that are mounted downstream of the impeller and the hydraulic efficiency as well as the suction behavior of the respective impeller design is significantly improved. The aim is achieved by a closed impeller () for centrifugal pumps which is characterized in that the width of the blade channel continuously increases from the feeding point of the flow into the impeller to the discharge point of the flow from the impeller () from a perspective of the meridian section such that the ratio between the width (b) in the discharge point and the width (b) at the feeding point ranges from 1.01 to 1.2.
