The present invention relates to a polyisocyanurate plastic obtainable by catalytic trimenzation of a polyisocyanate composition A) which contains oligomeric polyisocyanates and is low in monomeric diisocyanates, where the isocyanurate structure content in the polyisocyanate composition A) is at least 50 mol %, based on the sum total of the oligomeric structures from the group consisting of uretdione, isocyanurate, allophanate, biuret, iminooxadiazinedione and oxadiazinetrione structure that are present in the polyisocyanate composition A). The present invention further relates to a transparent element comprising or consisting of the polyisocyanurate plastic. The invention likewise relates to a process for producing the polyisocyanurate plastics.

The present invention relates to a process for the production of radiation-cured foams, characterized in that the radiation-cured foams are produced by 1) foaming of an aqueous composition A), 2) thermal drying of the foam produced from step 1), 3) curing of the foam by actinic radiation, the radiation-curable aqueous compositions A), the radiation-cured foams produced by the process according to the invention and the use of the radiation-cured foams for coating substrates.

The invention relates to a method for coating sheet-form textile materials, in which there is applied to a sheet-form textile material an aqueous dispersion containing anionically modified polyurethane ureas comprising (A) aromatic diisocyanate, (B) polyether polyol having a mean molecular weight greater than 1500, (C) at least one compound containing from 1 to 2 isocyanate-reactive groups and at least one ionogenic group, (D) polyamine having a mean molecular weight of at least 32, and (E) water, wherein the mean total functionality of the isocyanate-reactive compounds B to D is from 1.85 to 2.2, the molar ratio of the isocyanate groups of component A to the isocyanate-reactive groups of components B to D is greater than 1, and the polyurethane ureas have a content of from 800 to 1500 mmol of urethane groups/kg of anionically modified polyurethane urea and a content of from 800 to 1800 mmol of urethane plus urea groups/kg of anionically modified polyurethane urea.

Aqueous dispersion of anionically modified polyurethane ureas for coating a sheet-form textile material

This invention relates to solutions of polyurethaneureas in &#x3b3;-butyrolactone or mixtures of &#x3b3;-butyrolactone with toxicologically acceptable organic solvents. A process for coating substrates using these polyurethaneurea solutions, and substrates coated by said process are also provided. The substrates coated according to the invention are preferably textile products or leather, but materials such as wood or concrete can also be coated according to the invention.
