The present invention lies in the field of simulation systems for medical treatments, in particular for treatments carried out on dialysis machines. To do so, a method with which medical treatments can be performed and evaluated without the involvement of real human patients is proposed.

The present invention relates to the field of information display and information playback on medical fluid management machines, in particular dialysis machines in which there should be a simple and reliable transmission of patient features and machine features to a mobile computer. The present invention is based on the problem of making available to the operating personnel information pertaining to the medical fluid management machine or a treatment to be performed therewith and doing so in a simple and convenient manner such that certain information should be readable only by certain groups of people. In this regard methods and devices have been proposed with which specific graphic codes are generated, encrypted and displayed or applied, these graphic codes being inputable and decodable by a mobile computer.

A medical device is configured such that operator inputs are more convenient and more reliable via a touchscreen display. The medical device includes a touchscreen having two redundant finger-position sensors. At least one of the sensors has additional piezoelectric elements, which can modify at least partial areas of the touchscreen such that the sensors are differentiated from their surrounding areas by an elevation, a recess, a vibration or a change in the surface roughness sensed. A control unit differentiates intentional and unintentional operating entries, and in the event of failure of the visual display device of the touchscreen display ensures at least a restricted operability of the touchscreen display.

The invention relates to a medical treatment system, which has at least one device for carrying out a medical treatment, in particular dialysis treatment and a device for providing patient-related data. The patient-related data is stored by the server and the data can be displayed in a patient mode on a screen. The dialysis system has various security features, which prevent an erroneous input and the erroneous display of patient-related data in the patient mode on the screen.
