The present invention provides a dispenser which evenly dispenses washing water to a detergent container. Within the dispenser, a slit of a subsidiary water passage is configured in a rib located between an inlet water passage where washing water enters the dispenser and an end water passage distant from the inlet water passage by the farthest. Some quantity of washing water running the inlet water passage is diverged and moves to the end water passage where washing water has been insufficiently supplied. Hereby, washing water is equally scattered over the dispenser and drops into the detergent container. The dissolving power can be much more enhanced.

The present invention includes a cabinet, a control panel assembled to the cabinet, a plurality of operational buttons provided to the control panel, a deco panel assembled to the control panel, and a display unit provided to the deco panel. Accordingly, the present invention facilitates the deco panel to be assembled to the control panel despite a flesh formed on a rim of the deco panel and sustains the assembled state.

The present invention relates to laundry machines, and more particularly, to a control unit assembly in a laundry machine which enables easy assembly and accurate alignment of an input device of a printed circuit board with a button portion of a control panel. The control unit assembly includes a control panel having various operation buttons and coupling portions, a plurality of coating guides coupled to a rear surface of the control panel having fastening portions corresponding to the coupling portions, a plurality of printed circuit boards respectively mounted on the coating guides, each having an electric circuit mounted thereon, joining portions for joining the coating guides together so as to place the coating guides closer to an inside of the control panel, and holders for preventing the coupling portions and fastening portions from moving with respect to each other when the fastening portions are aligned with the coupling portions, thereby improving assembly work, preventing malfunction of the laundry machine, and permitting easy detection of an operation progress.

A drum type washer is provided in which replacement of a washing ball provided in a drum lift device may be simplified, and in which a volume of the drum may be increased. The washer may include a tub, a drum rotatably provided within the tub, and a lift provided within the drum. The lift may include a base detachably coupled to an inner surface of the drum and a cover detachably coupled to the base. An exposing hole may be formed in a surface of the cover to expose a portion of the washing ball positioned between the cover and the base. A width of the cover may be gradually decreased from a rear end portion to a front end portion thereof so as to minimize a size of the lift and increase an interior volume of the drum.

A detergent container of a washing machine in accordance with the present invention comprises a powdered detergent chamber to store powdered detergent, an outlet to discharge powdered detergent mixed with water in the powdered detergent chamber, a subsidiary detergent chamber to store bleach or fabric softner, a drain passage to guide powdered detergent mixed with water from the powdered detergent chamber to the outlet, and a bypass passage to allow powdered detergent mixed with water to bypass from the powdered detergent chamber to the drain passage. Even though an excessive volume of powdered detergent is placed in the powdered detergent chamber and the drain passage is clogged, powdered detergent mixed with water can be drained from the detergent container through the bypass passage, thus powdered detergent can be supplied to a tub of the washing machine without a hitch.

The button assembly includes a control panel provided with a plurality of button holes, a printed circuit board fixedly mounted to a rear surface of the control panel, a vertical rib attached to the control panel, a plurality of vertically-arranged horizontal ribs each having one end connected to the vertical rib, a plurality of buttons each connected to the other end of an associated one of the horizontal ribs, and slidably fitted in an associated one of the button holes, and flow guides each adapted to guide water, penetrating an associated one of the button holes, downward along a predetermined flow path.
