A rolled superconducting article includes: a cylindrical bobbin having a post in a cylindrical shape; a superconducting strip wound on the cylindrical bobbin in a rolled shape with a predetermined tension applied, wherein the superconducting strip is formed of a superconducting thin film, which is coated with a metal coating layer on a facing surface of the superconducting thin film, and a stabilizing substrate wound on the superconducting strip, wherein the stabilizing substrate is coated with a metal coating layer on a facing surface of the stabilizing substrate; an anti-bonding substrate wound on an outer surface of the stabilizing substrate with a predetermined tension applied; wherein the superconducting thin film is thermally adhered to the stabilizing substrate by heat-treating the rolled superconducting strip with the anti-bonding substrate wound therearound.

Superconducting strip having metal coating layer and method of manufacturing the same

A method and apparatus for manufacturing superconducting tape through an integrated process, including the steps of: heat-treating a substrate wound on a drum in a reaction chamber; continuously depositing components, constituting a buffer layer, a superconducting layer, a contact resistance layer, and a protective layer of the superconducting tape, which are supplied from a deposition chamber, on the substrate; and heat-treating the substrate deposited with the components. The present invention is advantageous in that the unit cost and time for manufacturing a superconducting tape are decreased because all processes for manufacturing a superconducting tape can be performed under the same conditions, the uniformity and performance of a superconducting tape is improved because the same deposition conditions are applied to all of the process for manufacturing a superconducting tape, and a high-quality superconducting tape having high deposition efficiency can be obtained because specific components can be deposited on a large-sized substrate using a drum.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing superconducting tape through integrated process

Disclosed herein is a method of fabricating a high temperature superconducting film in a vacuum chamber through auxiliary cluster beam spraying using an evaporation method, wherein a high temperature superconducting material is deposited on a substrate in a vapor state by evaporating the high temperature superconducting material, and at the same time, a cluster beam material is formed into gas atoms by heating the cluster beam material charged in a housing, and the formed gas atoms pass through a nozzle of an inlet of the housing and then are sprayed and grown on the substrate in the form of the cluster beam, thereby forming pinning centers in the high temperature superconducting film.
