The present application discloses a refrigerator capable of easily fixing a drain hose to one side of an inner case without having an additional fixing member used of fixing a drain hose. A refrigerator having an inner case configured to have a storage compartment formed therein; an outer case disposed outside the inner case and spaced a predetermined distance away from the inner case; a drain hose connected to one side of the inner case and disposed in an inner space formed between the inner case and the outer case; and a connector configured to connect the drain hose to the inner case, wherein the connector is mounted in the inner case using a hooking method.

A refrigerator and a manufacturing method thereof including processes of separately manufacturing partitions dividing a storage space into a plurality of storage chambers from a main body including an inner casing and an outer casing, coupling the partitions to an inner surface of the inner casing, filling a space between the inner casing and the partitions with an insulator, and filling the partitions with the insulator by filling a space between the inner casing and the outer casing with the insulator. Since the insulator uniformly fills the partitions dividing the storage space into the plurality of storage chambers, the partitions may possess improved insulating qualities.

A refrigerator includes a door rotatably coupled to the body to open and close the body. The refrigerator includes a front side panel comprising a through-hole, a handle coupled to the front side panel to open and close the door, a handle fixing unit coupled to the front side panel while passing through the through-hole, to fix the handle to the door. The refrigerator also includes a reinforcing unit including a coupling hole to which the handle fixing unit is coupled The reinforcing unit is fixed to a rear surface of the front side panel to reinforce the handle fixing unit. The refrigerator also includes a guide part protruding from the rear surface of the front side panel to guide a position of the reinforcing unit such that the coupling hole matches the through-hole. The reinforcing unit is provided with a guide groove into which the guide part is inserted.

A refrigerator has a variable shelf which may include a first partition shelf mounted to be pivotable about a rear end thereof, and a second partition shelf mounted to move relative to the first partition shelf and therefore protrude to a front of the first partition shelf. When the first and second partition shelves are rotated about the rear end of the first partition shelf in a state where the second partition shelf is disposed at a lower part of the first partition shelf, it may be guaranteed a storage space even for item(s) higher than an interval between the shelves and wider than a front-to-rear width of the second partition shelf.
