A driving circuit for a liquid crystal display, the driving circuit being an integrated circuit having electrode pads disposed on a surface of the integrated circuit, bumps formed on the electrode pads, a conductive adhesive layer formed on the bumps and conductive particles having an outer conductive layer and an elastic polymer inner portion deposited on the conductive adhesive layer. The driving circuit is mounted on a TFT array substrate and bonded to pads provided on the substrate. The conductive particles reduce electrical connection resistance that would otherwise arise due to height differences between bumps in a plurality of bumps, and prevents electrical open defects and an electrical short defects.

According to an embodiment of the present invention a panel assembly includes a first display panel having a first insulation substrate, a second display panel having a second insulation substrate opposite to the first insulation substrate, and a touch sensing unit formed on a surface of the second insulation substrate not facing the first insulation substrate. The touch sensing unit includes an electrostatic induction insulating layer formed on the second insulation substrate, an electrostatic induction pattern layer formed on the electrostatic induction insulating layer along edges of the electrostatic induction insulating layer, and a dielectric layer that covers the electrostatic induction insulating layer and the electrostatic induction pattern layer.

A manufacturing method for an array substrate, comprising forming a gate metal on a base substrate, patterning the gate metal to form a gate part having a gate electrode, a gate line and a gate pad. Then, a gate insulating layer, an active layer and a data metal are sequentially formed on the base substrate to cover the gate part. The data metal is patterned to form a data part having a data electrode, a data pad and a pixel electrode. Then, the exposed portion of the active layer is removed, and the exposed portion of the gate insulation layer is removed. When the data electrode is divided into a source electrode and a drain electrode, a switching device is completed.

A substrate for a display device includes an insulating substrate, a data line, an insulating layer and a pixel electrode. The insulating substrate has a switching element. The data line is formed on the insulating substrate to be electrically connected to a first electrode of the switching element. The insulating layer is formed on the insulating substrate having the switching element and the data line. The insulating layer has a contact hole through which a second electrode of the switching element is partially exposed and a groove adjacent to the data line. The pixel electrode is formed on the insulating layer to be electrically connected to the second electrode through the contact hole. Therefore, an image display quality may be improved, and a manufacturing cost of the LCD device may be reduced.

In a metal wiring, a method of forming the metal wiring, a display substrate having the metal wiring and a method of manufacturing the display substrate, the metal wiring includes a metal film and a first amorphous carbon film. The metal film is formed on a base substrate using a copper-containing material, and the first amorphous carbon film is formed beneath the metal film. A process for forming the metal wiring including the amorphous carbon film may be greatly simplified, and generation of defects in the metal wiring may be prevented or reduced.

A display device includes a display panel, a driving chip, and a non-conductive adhesive film. The display panel includes a pad member having a plurality of conductive pads. The driving chip includes a body and a plurality of bumps. The body has a driving circuit. The bumps are protruded from the body to make contact with the pads, respectively. The non-conductive adhesive film fixes the driving chip to the pad member. Therefore, a manufacturing cost is decreased, and a yield is increased.

The light emitting device includes a first electrode formed on a top surface of a substrate and a second electrode formed on a top surface of the light emitting layer. The light emitting layer auxiliary light emitting particles that convert the path of light, so that brightness of the light emitting device and the display device is improved.

The present invention relates to a thin film transistor array panel, a liquid crystal display, and a manufacturing method of the same. A TFT array for a LCD or an EL display is used as a circuit board for driving the respective pixels in an independent manner. The present invention provides pixel electrodes and contact assistants, which connect expansions of gate lines and data lines to an external circuit, having a structure of double layers including IZO layer and ITO layer. The ITO layer is disposed on the IZO layer. In the present invention, the pixel electrodes are formed to have double layers of IZO layer and ITO layer to avoid wires from getting damage by the ITO etchant and to prevent prove pins from having accumulation of foreign body during the gross test. In the present invention, the contact assistants may only be formed to have double layers of IZO layer and ITO layer to prevent prove pins from having accumulation of foreign body during the gross test. Since the consumption of ITO is reduced, manufacturing cost decreases.

Thin film transistor array panel and method of manufacturing the same

A cleaning unit of this invention includes a body and a cleaning member. The body includes an upper face. The upper face subsides to form a receiving recession for receiving a slit nozzle of the slit coater. The receiving recession includes a sidewall and a bottom face. The sidewall includes a first injection hole. A cleaning material is sprayed via the injection hole. The cleaning member eliminates dregs of the material attached on the slit nozzle of the slit coater. The cleaning member is attached on the bottom face of the receiving recession. According to the present invention, the slit nozzle is effectively cleared, so that the substrate is uniformly coated with the photosensitive layer, and the photosensitive layer is not scratched.

A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal layer and a light supply part providing light to the liquid crystal layer, and the liquid crystal layer and the light supply part are disposed between a first base substrate and a second base substrate. The light supply part is located inside the liquid crystal display to reduce a distance between the light supply part and the liquid crystal layer. Thus, the liquid crystal display may have reduced thickness and weight and enhanced brightness, thereby improving the display characteristics of the display.
