An air conditioning device includes a vapor injection cycle in which an operating speed of a compressor is adjusted to improve efficiency, and a method for controlling the device. The air conditioning device includes an inner heat-exchanger for exchanging heat between a first portion of refrigerant passing through a condenser and a second portion of the refrigerant branched from the first refrigerant, and an injection channel through which the second portion of the refrigerant is injected into the compressor. The inner heat exchanger includes an outer tube and an inner tube disposed inside the outer tube. The first portion of the refrigerant flows into the inner tube, while the second portion of the refrigerant flows into the outer tube. Thus, when a variation of air-conditioning load is small and an injection super-heating temperature is low, the device enables reduction of the compressor rotation speed to ensure high injection super-heating temperature.

Air conditioning device using vapor injection cycle and method for controlling the device

An air conditioner includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, and a first pipe configured to allow refrigerant to flow from the first heat exchanger. A bypass pipe is branched off from the first pipe and is configured to expand refrigerant flowing through the bypass pipe. A second heat exchanger is configured to allow the expanded refrigerant of the bypass pipe to heat-exchange with the refrigerant flowing along the first pipe. A second pipe couples the second heat exchanger to the compressor so that the refrigerant expanded by the bypass pipe and heat-exchanged at the second heat exchanger can be introduced into the compressor.

Air conditioner and method of controlling the same

A heat pump capable of performing heating and cooling simultaneously is provided. The heat pump includes a compressor, indoor devices that heat or cool an indoor space, outdoor heat exchangers, and switching devices. The outdoor heat exchangers are configured to individually operate as a condenser or an evaporator depending on a ratio of heating to cooling of the indoor devices. When an operation mode is changed, continuous heating and cooling is performed without stopping the system.

In the method, which is applied to a multi-unit air conditioning system including at least three compressors, when a compressor re-operation is repeatedly carried out after all of the compressors have been turned off, to turn on again at least one of the compressors, repetition of the compressor re-operation is carried out for a predetermined number of different orders in such a manner that at least one of the compressors is turned on first in an associated order of the repeated compressor re-operation.

Method for controlling multi-unit air conditioning system

A control method of a multi-air conditioner in which a plurality of indoor units is connected to one outdoor unit and refrigerant flow amount is adjusted by electronic expansion valves comprises a share step in which a plurality of indoor units exchanges their operation information, a comparison and judgment step in which each above indoor unit compares and judges its operation status based on the exchanged operation information, and an adjustment step in which each above indoor unit adjusts refrigerant flow amount supplied to each indoor unit based on the compared and judged operation status.

Control method of an air conditioner indoor unit

A refrigerant bypassing and filtering apparatus of an air conditioner is disclosed which is capable of effectively removing foreign matter such as slag produced in a refrigerant line, not only when the air conditioner is initially operated, but also during normal operation of the air conditioner. The apparatus includes at least one bypass line adapted to guide a refrigerant to bypass a main line through which the refrigerant flows between an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, a strainer arranged at the bypass line, a first valve arranged at the main line between opposite ends of the bypass line connected to the main line, and second valves arranged at the bypass line.
