A stamp includes a metal supporting layer, a pattern forming layer and an adhesive layer. The metal supporting layer has a first thermal conductivity. The pattern forming layer is disposed on the metal supporting layer and has a surface with a molding pattern formed thereon. The adhesive layer is disposed between the metal supporting layer and the pattern forming layer to couple the pattern forming layer to the metal supporting layer, and has a second thermal conductivity lower than the first thermal conductivity. Thus, strength of the stamp may be improved, and deformation of the stamp during the process of manufacturing a light guide plate may be reduced or prevented.

Light guide plate stamp and method of manufacturing the same

The display device includes a display panel displaying images, a light source generating and supplying light to the display panel, and a unitary indivisible frame supporting the display panel and including the light source disposed therein. The frame includes a bottom surface, a plurality of sidewalls which each extend from the bottom surface, a plurality of seating portions which extend from the plurality of sidewalls and on which the display panel is seated, and support protrusions protruding inclined from the seating portions and facing a lateral surface of the display panel. The bottom surface, the plurality of sidewalls, the plurality of seating portions and the support protrusions are disposed continuous with each other in the unitary indivisible frame.

Display device

In a light source apparatus, a method of manufacturing the light source and a backlight assembly having the same, a light guide plate (LGP) includes an upper surface and a lower surface facing each other and a first side surface and a second side surface. The light source is placed in the LGP adjacent to the first side surface and emits light toward the second side surface. The power supply unit is electrically connected to the light source and partially placed in the LGP. The light source may include a lamp or a light-emitting diode (LED). The power supply unit may include a wire or a power supply substrate. The light source apparatus may be formed by an injection molding process using lower and upper mold frames. Therefore, backlight assembly size, the number of parts and manufacturing steps may be decreased, and the illumination quality may be improved.

Light source apparatus, method of manufacturing the light source apparatus and backlight assembly having the same

A backlight assembly having an improved heat releasing structure and a display device having the backlight assembly are provided. The backlight assembly includes a plurality of lamps emitting light and a fixing member receiving the plurality of lamps. A separating member protruding from an edge of the fixing member defines an inner space that contains the light-lamp portions in the fixing member, and the separating member separates electrodes of the lamps from the inner space. The separating member has openings that are positioned to direct the heat generated by the lamp electrodes away from the inner space where the excess heat can cause display quality deterioration.

Backlight assembly having improved heat releasing structure and display device having the same

A liquid crystal display module, a liquid crystal display device, and a method for assembling the liquid crystal display device, which are capable of minimizing the overall size of the liquid crystal display device by improving an engaging structure between the liquid crystal display module and a case, are disclosed. Engaging holes are formed in an unused region of a top chassis, a mold frame and an end portion of a back cover. One side of a shaft screw is engaged with a catching member integrally formed with the inner side upper surface of a case. The other side of the shaft screw penetrates through the engaging holes of the top chassis, the mold frame, and the back cover and is engaged with a nut screw on a rear surface of the back cover. Accordingly, a separate space for installing a fixing member for fixing the mold frame and the back cover to the case is not needed, and the case, the mold frame, and the back cover is not engaged by using a separate screw. Therefore, the overall size of the liquid crystal display device can be minimized, and the number of parts and the number of assembling processes can be remarkably reduced.

Liquid crystal display module for liquid crystal display device and a method for assembling the same

A backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display having the same which can prevent a lamp wire from being damaged, simplify the manufacturing process, and reduce the manufacturing cost. The backlight assembly includes a receiving container for receiving a lamp, a lamp wire, connected to the lamp, for supplying power to the lamp, and a lamp holder, coupled to the receiving container and connected to the lamp, for guiding the lamp wire in parallel with the lamp.

Backlight assembly and liquid crystal display having the same

A lamp holder includes a supporting part and a holding part. The supporting part includes a guiding hole for guiding a wire of a lamp. The holding part protrudes from the supporting part in a longitudinal direction of the lamp. A holding groove is formed at the holding part to hold an end portion of the lamp. The lamp holder improves an image display quality of a display device.
