A method performed by a first communication device operating in a wireless communications network. The first communication device obtains a first set of one or more values indicating an observed speed of a boat relative to a power of an engine of the boat. The speed and the first indication are obtained by from sensors in the boat. The first communication device then obtains a second indication of an external factor on the hull of the boat causing friction against water. The obtaining of the second indication is based at least on: the obtained first set, and a reference. The reference is based on one of: a) a threshold, and b) a mathematical model. The first communication device also initiates providing a third indication of the external factor to a device, based on the obtained second indication.

Devices and methods for indicating an external factor on the hull of a boat

The present invention relates to a method for predicting a performance indicator for a service in a network. The method is performed by a network node of the network, and the method comprises obtaining measurement data of a metric affecting a service communicating via a radio access network, RAN, node, wherein the metric is independent of the service communicating via the RAN node, inputting the obtained measurement data into a prediction model for performance of the service communicating via the RAN node, wherein the prediction model has been trained with measurement data from the RAN node and measurement data from an end node, and predicting the performance indicator for performance of the service in the network. A network node, a computer program and a computer program product are also presented.

A method performed by a first wireless device served by a first wireless access point in a first wireless communications network, the first wireless communications network being operated by a first network operator, comprises acquiring () a determination from a first reinforcement learning agent of whether to roam from the first wireless access point to a second wireless access point in a second wireless communications network, the second wireless communications network being operated by a second network operator. The method further includes roaming () from the first wireless access point to the second wireless access point, based on the determination.

Methods and apparatus for roaming between wireless communications networks

A method for retrieving maps from a map server is disclosed where, as an intermediate step, map meta-data is requested on the basis of which one or more map can later be selected. Map meta-data on the basis of location data, indicating the location of the user device, and map criteria, specifying at least one condition for selecting maps which may be entered manually or automatically into a user device. The request is sent to a map server where a search for map meta-data matching the received location data and map criteria is executed. In case of at least one match between the map meta-data, the location data and the map criteria, map meta-data associated with at least one map is provided to the user device, such that the user device can select at least one map, which can be acquired from the map server, at least partly on the basis of the retrieved map meta-data.
