A lenticular display may be formed with convex curvature. The lenticular display may have a lenticular lens film with lenticular lenses that extend across the length of the display. The lenticular lenses may be configured to enable stereoscopic viewing of the display. To enable more curvature in the display while ensuring satisfactory stereoscopic display performance, the display may have stereoscopic zones and non-stereoscopic zones. A central stereoscopic zone may be interposed between first and second non-stereoscopic zones. The non-stereoscopic zones may have more curvature than the stereoscopic zone. To prevent crosstalk within the lenticular display, a louver film may be incorporated into the display. The pixel array may have a diagonal layout and may be covered by vertically oriented lenticular lenses.

Pixel arrangements for electronic device displays

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display may have an array of organic light-emitting diode pixels that each have OLED layers interposed between a cathode and an anode. Voltage may be applied to the anode of each pixel to control the magnitude of emitted light. The conductivity of the OLED layers may allow leakage current to pass between neighboring anodes in the display. To reduce leakage current and the accompanying cross-talk, resistance of a laterally conductive OLED layer may be increased. The laterally conductive layer may include an organic host material, dopants, and a resistance-increasing additive. Another way to reduce leakage current is to apply bias voltages to the anodes of the display and/or expose the laterally conductive layer to ultraviolet light, causing dopants within the laterally conductive layer to degrade.

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display may have an array of organic light-emitting diode pixels that each have OLED layers interposed between a cathode and an anode. Voltage may be applied to the anode of each pixel to control the magnitude of emitted light. The conductivity of the OLED layers may allow leakage current to pass between neighboring anodes in the display. To reduce leakage current and the accompanying cross-talk in a display, the pixel definition layer may disrupt continuity of the OLED layers. The pixel definition layer may have a steep sidewall, a sidewall with an undercut, or a sidewall surface with a plurality of curves to disrupt continuity of the OLED layers. A control gate that is coupled to a bias voltage and covered by gate dielectric may be used to form an organic thin-film transistor that shuts the leakage current channel between adjacent anodes on the display.

Organic light-emitting diode display with reduced lateral leakage

Quantum dot layers and display devices including quantum dot layers are described. In an embodiment the quantum dot layer includes quantum dots with coatings to adjust the spacing between adjacent quantum dots. In an embodiment, the coatings are metal oxide coatings and may create a charge transporting matrix. In an embodiment, the coatings are core-material coatings. The QD layers may be QD-LED compatible.

Quantum dot spacing for high efficiency quantum dot LED displays

Displays including hybrid pixels including an OLED subpixel and QD-LED subpixel are described. In an embodiment, OLED and QD-LED stacks are integrated into the same pixel with multiple common layers shared by the OLED and QD-LED stacks.

Quantum dot LED and OLED integration for high efficiency displays

Quantum dot layers and display devices including quantum dot layers are described. In an embodiment the quantum dot layer includes quantum dots with metal oxide coatings to adjust the spacing between adjacent quantum dots. In an embodiment, the metal oxide coatings may create a charge transporting matrix, be QD-LED compatible.
