In an example implementation, a plurality of similarities are calculated between a user environment and multiple pilot environments from application deployment test results. A list is presented with one or more of the catalogs of applications that are indicated as compatible and similar to the user environment based on the calculated similarities. The user can select catalog from the list that is deployed in the user environment.

A passage channel is calculated by taking into account a plurality of requirements having different importance degrees. A channel calculation unit () of a transport control server () calculates a plurality of passage channel candidates with respect to a passage setting request wherein an active passage candidate and a standby passage candidate are paired in the passage channel candidate; and calculates the occurrence number of phenomena that violate a predetermined requirement relating an operation of the active passage and the standby passage, or a value of a network element for determining whether the requirement is violated, with respect to each passage channel candidate. Transport control server (TCS) in a network system including a first backup path (FBP) with predetermined first bandwidth (PFB) secured or reserved between any node pair, second backup path (SBP) with predetermined second bandwidth (PSB) secured or reserved between any node pair, the FBP and SBP sharing a link, each node forwards data according to path setting information. The TCS including: a storage section storing, for each path, an identifier for each node through which the path passes; and a control processing section performing: upon switchover of first active path to FBP, judging whether PSB of SBP can be secured or reserved by the bandwidth of the shared link through which the FBP passes, by referring to the storage section; if not, identifying nodes through which the SBP passes, by referring to the storage section; and transmitting a setting change notification to delete the SBP to the identified nodes.

Path calculation method

A data synchronization system transfers data between multiple data synchronization servers connected to a network path. The data synchronization server calculates a transfer delay on a network path involved in the transfer of data of multiple applications in an application server to another data synchronization server, predicts a time at which the transfer delay will exceed the requested delay of each application, and controls the transmission rate of data for each application so that times, at which the transfer delays will exceed the requested delays of all applications, become the same. In this way, the data synchronization system controls the data synchronization of applications between remotely installed distributed data centers so that the requested delay of each application is satisfied as much as possible.

A transport control server (TCS) identifies a backup path B switched over to from an active path A due to a path change or a fault, based on information in a path change notification or a fault notification. The TCS identifies a backup path C affected by the switchover from the active path to the backup path. The TCS identifies nodes in which a setting change to delete the backup path C is needed and nodes in which a backup path D should be set up as an alternative to the backup path C and transmits a setting change notification to these nodes.

A transport control server coupled to a plurality of nodes in a network through which a plurality of traffics passes through is provided. The transport control server is configured to receive bandwidth information from each of the nodes when the traffics pass through the nodes. For each of the traffics, the transport control server calculates bandwidths at an entry edge node and at an exit edge node based on the received bandwidth information. The transport control server defines as a first traffic, based on the calculated bandwidths at the entry edge node and the exit edge node, a traffic having a discarded bandwidth that is larger than a first predetermined bandwidth. Also, the transport control server defines as a second traffic, based on the received bandwidth information, a first traffic having a bandwidth at the two or more nodes that exceeds a specified second bandwidth.

A transport control server () wherein a conversion table including a pre-conversion identifier and a post-conversion identifier, and a conversion type indicating the aggregate/transfer of a path are previously stored for each two segments that are connected to each other. When devices () at the endpoints of the path are specified, the transport control server () calculates the route between the devices to identify one or a plurality of gateway nodes (to) on the route. A method for detection of passing magnetic articles which includes an initial step of sensing an ambient magnetic field and generating a voltage, Vsig, proportional to the magnetic field. A threshold voltage is generated as a percentage of the peak-to-peak voltage of Vsig. The method further includes the step of generating a proximity detector output voltage that becomes one binary level when Vsig rises to exceed the threshold voltage and another binary level when Vsig falls to below the threshold voltage. The threshold voltage is periodically updated to remain the percentage, within a predetermined tolerance, of the peak-to-peak voltage of Vsig in response to changes that may occur in the peak voltages of Vsig. In one embodiment, the threshold voltage is at a first level corresponding to a first percentage of the peak-to-peak voltage of Vsig when Vsig exceeds the threshold voltage and is at a second level corresponding to a second percentage of the peak-to-peak voltage of Vsig when Vsig is less than the threshold voltage.

The Hall sensor circuit includes a Hall element that is preferably followed by a Hall-voltage amplifier, and a pole end of a magnet is preferably fixed adjacent to the Hall element. The amplifier output is connected directly to one of a pair of differential inputs of a Schmitt trigger circuit and is also connected, via a single or a dual-polarity track and hold circuit, to the other of the differential Schmitt inputs. The dual-polarity track and hold circuit causes the voltage across a capacitor to track positive and negative Hall voltage slopes, and to hold the positive-going peaks and negative-going peaks of the Hall voltage presented to the fore-mentioned other Schmitt input so that when the difference voltage between the Hall voltage and the held voltage of the capacitor exceeds a positive or negative threshold of the Schmitt circuit, the Schmitt circuit output changes binary state indicating the approaching edge or the receding edge of a ferrous-gear tooth. The dual-polarity track and hold circuit is made up of two complementary plus and a minus peak detector circuits, each including a bipolar transistor having an emitter connected to the voltage-holding capacitor, an operational amplifier with an output connected to the base of the transistor, the amplifier having a negative input connected to the transistor emitter and a positive input serving as the input of the each Hall voltage tracking and holding circuit.
