An extension part of an insulator covering a part of a coupling portion of a laminated core of an armature is inclined to the inside in the radial direction along the coupling part. A inclined face which is extended inward in the radial direction is formed in the cylindrical part of the armature. By forming the armature in an annular shape, a gap which is almost parallel or narrowed to the inside in the radial direction is formed between neighboring inclined faces. The gap is formed to be smaller than the diameter of a conductor.

Armature and motor on which the armature is mounted

The present invention can make the motor life of a motor be longer under the high temperature environment. The motor has a sleeve which is formed by a porous material made of a metal powder and the sleeve is held in a cylindrical sleeve holding part. An annular concave gap is formed between the sleeve and the sleeve holding part. In this annular concave gap, a member which can keep an excess oil is inserted. A first upper inner peripheral part of the sleeve holding part has a first minute gap between an outer peripheral surface of the sleeve, and the first minute gap has an enough width for an adhering oil to be absorbed by the sleeve when the adhering oil adheres to the first minute gap.

Motor and display unit

The brushless motor according to the present invention is small in overall height without deterioration of the rotational accuracy. One of a pair of bearings is interposed between the base plate and the rotor and located on the radially outside of the other one of the bearings. A plurality of receiving holes is formed on the base plate to correspond to the teeth of the stator core to provide an axially space for respectively accommodating coils wound around the stator core. Thus, in spite of the motor having such a small axial clearance between the base plate and the rotor, sufficient amount of winding of coil is ensured. The receiving holes are closed from the outside of the motor with a sheet member and an adhesive is filled therein for fixedly securing the coil of the stator. The adhesive further acts as a damper to absorb magnetic vibration generated at the stator.
