This scroll compressor comprises: a shaft that is capable of rotating about an axis; a motor that rotatably drives the shaft; a compressor body that is driven by the rotation of the shaft; a housing that covers the motor and the compressor body and that has a bottom surface facing the motor from the axial direction; an intake port that guides a refrigerant into the housing; and heat-dissipating fins that are formed on the bottom surface, that extend in the direction in which the refrigerant flows, and that are divided in the flow direction.

A vehicular electric compressor () includes a compressor body () that compresses fluid sucked from outside and then discharges the fluid, using electric power as power, a protective component () attached on the compressor body (), and an external attachment leg () attached to the compressor body () through the protective component (). A housing structure for a device to be mounted on a vehicle is provided with which strength for withstanding a collision can be ensured. An electric compressor (), which is a device to be mounted on a vehicle, is equipped with a device main body (), and a cylindrical housing () provided in a vehicle and on the inside of which the device main body () is accommodated. A protruding portion () protruding radially outward is formed on a cylindrical part () constituting the housing (). A cross section of the protruding portion () orthogonal to an axial line (L) of the cylindrical part () presents an arc-like shape or a substantially arc-like shape protruding outward in the radial direction.

Vehicle-mounted device

A testing method of thermal barrier coating (TBC) is for evaluating the presence or absence of damage to TBC formed on a bending part on which compression stress acts. The method includes a test piece that includes a pair of arm parts, a bending part arranged between the pair of arm parts, and a TBC layer on a bending surface of the bending part; attaching the test piece to a compression testing device after preparing the test piece; and applying compression stress to the test piece in a direction for bringing the pair of arm parts close together after attaching the test piece with the compression testing device. The pair of arm parts are arranged so as to separate from each other from base end portions toward front end portions of the arm parts. The bending part is arranged between the base end portions.

Testing method and test piece of thermal barrier coating

An affixing structure that reduces costs and reduces the risk of vibration causing damage or the like to electrical connection terminals on an electronic component affixed to a circuit board is provided. In the affixing structure, which is affixed to a circuit board () via a plurality of lead frames () that are part of a transformer (), at least one second side wall perpendicular to a first side wall where the lead frames () are arranged is adhesively supported on the circuit board () by a support (). Terminal connecting-and-fixing structure

A refrigerant evaporator is provided in which a liquid refrigerant can be evenly distributed to a plurality of refrigerant tubes connected to first and second tanks in a U-turn block to improve heat-exchange performance. In the refrigerant evaporator, one of a plurality of blocks into which a refrigerant supply channel is divided is a U-turn block where a refrigerant flows into one of the first and second tank portions of an upper tank in a direction along a partition wall, flows into the other tank portion, and is distributed and flows from the first and second tank portions into a plurality of refrigerant tubes. The partition wall partitioning the first and second tank portions of the upper tank has a plurality of refrigerant-distributing holes arranged in a longitudinal direction of the partition wall in the U-turn block so that the first tank portion communicates with the second tank portion.
