A webbing take-up device including: a take-up shaft on which a webbing is taken up; a lock mechanism including a lock gear disposed at one axial direction end portion of the take-up shaft and formed with ratchet teeth, and a lock plate formed with lock teeth engaging with the ratchet teeth; and a frame including a pair of leg plates disposed at both axial direction end portions of the take-up shaft, an opening portion being formed at a leg plate of the pair of leg plates disposed further to the other axial direction end portion of the take-up shaft than the ratchet teeth and the lock teeth, and the opening portion passing through the leg plate at a position that faces towards a range including a mutual engagement position between the ratchet teeth and the lock teeth and the periphery of the engagement position along the take-up shaft axial direction.

Webbing take-up device

A restriction rotating body is provided at a carrier plate, on the opposite side of a sun gear to a planet gear. When an internal-toothed gear is displaced together with a sensor gear in the rotation radial direction thereof, the internal-toothed gear presses a shaft portion of the restriction rotating body, and further, a gear portion of the restriction rotating body presses the sun gear. Due thereto, the amount of relative displacement of the internal-toothed gear with respect to the sun gear can accordingly be reduced. Moreover, since the restriction rotating body does not mesh with the internal-toothed gear, the restriction rotating body can be easily assembled after assembly of the planet gear. The planet gear can accordingly be easily assembled prior to assembly of the restriction rotating body.

A webbing take-up device comprising a spool and a locking unit having a locking unit main body having a rotational acceleration detecting unit, wherein the rotational acceleration detecting unit comprises a second rotating body; a rotation transmission member provided at the second rotating body; an inertial mass body having a pressing portion and provided at the second rotating body; a biasing means provided at the second rotating body; and a retaining portion provided at the second rotating body to pinch the rotation transmission member together with the inertial mass body biased by the biasing means, thereby retaining the rotation transmission member in a state in which the rotation transmission member does not engage with the first rotating body, and to release retention of the rotation transmission member when relative rotation is produced between the second rotating body and the inertial mass body.

Provided is a webbing winding device having a lock mechanism in which a driven body is less influenced by an inclination of a driving body. A peripheral wall extends from an edge portion of a penetration hole formed at a sensor gear constituting the lock mechanism toward a link member, and a guide hole is formed at a bottom wall formed at the front end of the peripheral wall. An engagement pin of the link member passes through the guide hole from the base end portion rather than the front end portion thereof in the protruding direction. Further, in the front end side of the engagement pin passing through and protruding from the guide hole, the outer peripheral portion is spaced apart from the inner peripheral portion of the peripheral wall.

Webbing winding device

A webbing take-up device comprising: a take-up shaft that takes up a webbing belt; a metal frame that axially supports the take-up shaft; and a lock mechanism comprising a lock plate that blocks rotation in the pullout direction of the webbing of the take-up shaft by engaging the take-up shaft directly or indirectly. The lock plate is formed by performing press-punch and press-bend processing on a metal plate and has a connecting portion formed so that one end side thereof is continuous with a lock, which engages the take-up shaft. The connecting portion spans between one side and the other side of the frame.

A webbing retractor is provided that reduces the amount of webbing that is pulled-out after operation of a pretensioner mechanism. In a webbing retractor, a lock pawlis set in a non-meshable state in which it cannot mesh with a lock gear. At a time when a pretensioner mechanismoperates and a clutch platerotates in a take-up direction, a lock stopperrotates together with the clutch plateand releases engagement with the lock pawl. Therefore, the lock pawlis rotated by a compression coil springand changed to a meshable state. In this way, immediately after rotational force in a pull-out direction is applied to the lock geardue to load from a vehicle occupant after operation of the pretensioner mechanism, the lock pawlmeshes with the lock gear, and pulling-out of a webbingis impeded. Therefore, an amount of the webbingwhich is pulled-out can be reduced.

Webbing retractor, webbing retracting method, and vehicle

A webbing take-up device () is disclosed, wherein a motor () is provided directly below a take-up shaft () between a pair of leg plates () with a rotary shaft () of the motor () disposed perpendicularly to the take-up shaft (), and a clutch () is provided at one side of one leg plate (). Further, a gear () of a motor gear portion () is removably connected to a worm gear () in a clutch gear portion (), and a mounting stay () is detachably attached to a case () with screws (), so that the motor () and the motor gear portion () can be detached independently of the case () while still being assembled together. Still further, a pretensioner mechanism () and a sensor mechanism () are provided at one end side of a spool (), and an urging mechanism () is disposed at the other end side thereof.

In a pretensioner device, engaging teeth of a pinion (rotating body) have first projections which project-out toward the other side in the peripheral direction of a cam portion. Meshing claws of a clutch plate have second projections which project-out toward a one side in the peripheral direction of the cam portion, and whose gear portion side end surfaces face the first projections. In a state before operation of the pretensioner device, movement of the clutch plate toward one side in the axial direction with respect to the pinion is restricted due to the second projections engaging with the first projections. Accordingly, in the pretensioner device, in the state before operation, even if some type of external force is applied to the clutch plate, positional offset of the clutch plate toward the one side in the axial direction with respect to the pinion can be prevented.

Pretensioner device

A webbing retractor which can prevent gas, which is for rotating a take-up shaft in a take-up direction, from affecting other structural parts. In the webbing retractor, when a pretensioner mechanism operates, gas for operation within a cylinder is exhausted toward a pinion via a gas venting hole formed in a flange portion of a piston. Because a blocking wall is provided between the pinion and an acceleration sensor, exhausted gas passes between the pinion and the blocking wall, and is exhausted to an outer side of the webbing retractor from an upper end side of a cover plate or the like. In this way, blowing-out of the exhausted gas onto the acceleration sensor is blocked, and the exhausted gas can be prevented from affecting the acceleration sensor.

Webbing retractor

A webbing retractor is provided that enables elimination of the part of a webbing belt left in the spool in an entirely pulled-out state of a webbing belt. A space portion is formed in a notched shape in an ALR switch lever. A cam projection of a cam plate that presses the ALR switch lever and changes it to the engaging direction side to a spool enters into the inside of the space portion and, thereby, the cam projection can rotate to an advanced position at the cam pull-out direction side with respect its contact position with the ALR switch lever, whereby the webbing belt can be pulled out entirely.

A webbing take-up device includes: a spool to which a base end portion of a long band-like webbing belt is attached and which is rotatable such that the webbing belt can be taken up and pulled out; and a rotating body that is coaxially relatively rotatable with respect to the spool. A coupling member, which causes the rotating body to rotate in a pullout direction together with the spool rotating in the pullout direction of the webbing belt when the coupling member is directly or indirectly engaged with the spool, is disposed on the rotating body. The webbing take-up device also includes: a lock member that regulates the rotation of the spool; acceleration detecting unit that is actuated when a vehicle disposed with the webbing take-up device abruptly decelerates; rotation detecting unit that is actuated by the abrupt rotation of the spool in the pullout direction and causes the coupling member to move to a position where the coupling member is engageable with the spool; and regulating unit that engages with the coupling member when the webbing belt has been taken up and accommodated onto the spool and regulates the displacement of the coupling member toward the engageable position.

A fixture is disclosed which can reliably attach an attachment member, such as a cylinder, to an attachment site, such as a frame. The fixture includes a fixing portion, which faces the attachment site at the side of the attachment site and is fixed to the attachment site, and a contact portion, which is disposed at the side opposite from the attachment site, with the attachment member therebetween. The contact portion is integrally coupled to the fixing portion, point-contacts or line-contacts the attachment member, and is configured to push the attachment member to the attachment site in a state where the fixing portion is fixed to the attachment site. A webbing take-up device including this fixture is also disclosed.

Fixture and webbing take-up device

In the webbing retractor, a lock plate is supported by a circular axis so as to be circularly movable freely by a resin support portion of a gear case by insertion of the circular axis of the lock plate in a support hole of the gear case. Even at times when great load acts on the lock plate at the support portion side, deformation of the support portion caused by movement towards the support portion side of the lock plate is prevented due to the tip of the circular axis of the lock plate contacting the metal blocking portion of the cover plate. Due to this, release of the support of the lock plate by the support portion is prevented.

A webbing take-up device is disclosed which includes a take-up shaft onto which a webbing is mound, and a mounting member nondetachably mounted to the take-up shaft by screw tightening. The take-up shaft and the mounting member are engaged with each other at a portion other than a portion where the screw tightening is carried out, thereby preventing relative rotation of the take-up shaft and the mounting member.

A pinion of a pretensioner is provided at a side of a torsion shaft, which side is opposite a side connected integrally to a spool via a sleeve. A base lock of a lock mechanism is connected to the pinion. Due to the lock mechanism operating, a leg plate side end portion of the torsion shaft is locked. In this way, due to operation of the pretensioner, the pinion, which is connected to a rotating portion of a sleeve, also is locked by the locking mechanism. Therefore, a piston of the pretensioner is not lowered, and internal pressure of a cylinder does not affect deformation of the torsion shaft.
