For a connector including a terminal and a housing into which the terminal is inserted, the degrees of freedom of design are raised for a retaining portion that retains the terminal, and adjustment of connector characteristics such as impedance is facilitated. A connector is configured including terminals (signal terminals and power source terminals) and housings into which the terminals are inserted. The housings are configured including a first housing (the fitting housing) and a second housing (the mounted housing). The first housing includes first side retaining portions (signal terminal retaining portions and power source terminal retaining portions of the fitting housing) that retain portions of the terminals. The second housing includes second side retaining portions (signal terminal retaining portions and power source terminal retaining portions of the mounted housing) that retain other portions of the terminals.

Connector with first and second side retaining portions

A connector includes a housing and a shield member. The housing includes an insertion-removal section and a guide face, a connection target is inserted into or removed from the insertion-removal section through an insertion-removal port in an insertion-removal direction, and the guide face is formed at a peripheral portion of the insertion-removal section so as to guide the connection target toward the insertion-removal section. The shield member includes a pair of shield portions and a coupling portion. The pair of shield portions are disposed on both sides of the housing in a first direction intersecting the insertion-removal direction, the coupling portion couples the pair of shield portions together in the first direction, the coupling portion contacts a location of the housing on an opposite side to the insertion-removal port in the insertion-removal direction, and the coupling portion at least partially overlaps the guide face as viewed in the insertion-removal direction.

Connector

A movable connector includes a movable housing and a plurality of terminals. Each terminal includes a movable portion and a contact portion. The terminal includes a second fixed portion fixed to the movable housing. The second fixed portion includes a first fixed piece portion connected to the contact portion. The first fixed piece portion has press-fit shoulders, to which a pressing force is applied by using a press-fit jig during press-fitting into the movable housing. The second fixed portion further includes a second fixed piece portion connected to the movable portion and a connecting section connecting the first fixed piece portion to the second fixed piece portion.

Movable connector

There is provided a movable connector that more reliably suppresses pivotal motion of a connection target object at a contact section serving as the center of the pivotal motion. Further, reliable suppression of the pivotal motion of the connection target object at the contact section is achieved with no increase in the size of terminals. A contact section includes a first contact piece section having a first contact section that achieves pressing contact with a pin terminal T in a first direction, a second contact piece section having a second contact section that achieves pressing contact with the pin terminal T in the first direction in a position shifted from the first contact section toward the far side, and a contact receiving section that faces the first and second contact sections and has a contact surface section that comes into contact with the pin terminal T over the length thereof.

Terminal structure that supports movement between two housings

A multi-contact connector includes terminals, which each include a first contact piece section, which has a first contact section, which achieves pressing contact with a pin terminal in a first direction, and a first elastic arm, which extends in a direction that intersects the first direction and displaceably supports the first contact section, and a second contact piece section, which has a second contact section, which achieves pressing contact with the pin terminal in the first direction, and a second elastic arm, which displaceably supports the second contact section. The second elastic arm extends in the first direction, which intersects the direction in which the first elastic arm extends, and an end portion of the second elastic arm or the end portion in the extending direction, that is, the front end facing the first elastic arm is formed as a spring piece linked to the second contact section.

Multi-contact connector

The present invention provides an optical coupling member and an optical connector using the optical coupling member, capable of improving the efficiency of an assembly work of the optical connector and positioning optical fibers in the optical connector with high accuracy. The optical coupling member () has: holding members () for being able to hold optical fibers () that are inserted from insertion holes () formed at end parts; lenses housed in housing parts formed at opposite end parts of the holding members (); and a joining member () for connecting the holding members () as aligned in parallel to each other, the joining member being formed of an elastic material.

Optical coupling member and optical connector using the same

An optical coupling member includes an optical fiber (), a holder () that holds the optical fiber inserted from an insertion hole () formed at one end, and a lens such as a collimator lens () accommodated in an accommodation section () formed at the other end of the holder (), the optical coupling member performing positioning by causing at least one of the lens and the end face of the optical fiber () to come into contact with an abutting surface () formed in the vicinity of the accommodation section () by providing a recess () on an outer circumference near the accommodation section () of the holder (), in which a plurality of the recesses () are provided on an identical plane orthogonal to an insertion direction of the optical fiber ().

Optical coupling member and optical connector using the same, and optical coupling member holding member

An optical connector has: a holding member having an accommodating portion formed at an end thereof for accommodating a collimator lens and an insertion hole formed at an opposite end thereof for inserting an optical fiber; and a resin joint having a first insertion hole formed at an end thereof for inserting the holding member and a second insertion hole formed at an opposite end thereof for inserting the optical fiber. The collimator lens and the optical fiber are positioned by making at least one of the collimator lens and an end surface of the optical fiber abut against a recess formed in the holding member near the accommodating portion. The resin joint has a fixing portion formed therein for fixing a part of the optical fiber positioned in the holding member inserted via the first insertion hole into the resin joint, the part being exposed from the holding member.

Optical connector

In order to fix an optical fiber to a desired position in a holding member easily and tightly, provided is an optical collimator () having a plastic optical fiber () and a cylindrical holder (). The holder () is configured to hold a collimator lens () at an end and has an insertion hole () at an opposite end for inserting the plastic optical fiber (). The plastic optical fiber () is sandwiched by an inner surface of a recess () which is formed at a part of the holder () in proper alignment with the collimator lens ().

Optical collimator and optical connector using same

In order to facilitate positioning of a collimator lens and an optical fiber while preventing cost increase, provided is an optical collimator having a holder () which has a cylindrical shape and is made of metal; a collimator lens () which is housed in a housing part () formed at an end of the holder (); and an optical fiber () which is inserted via an insertion hole () formed at an opposite end of the holder () and is fixed at a predetermined position. At least one of the collimator lens () and an end surface of the optical fiber () is made to abut to a recess () formed in proximity of the housing part () of the holder () thereby to perform positioning.

A method of moulding a composite member and a composite member are provided in which a convex part can be formed at one member by moulding the other member integrally to the one member. A concave partis provided at least at a part inside a metal mouldlocated on the side opposite the second member fusion bonding surface side of the above-mentioned first member, the above-mentioned second thermoplastic material is melted and ejected to the second member fusion bonding surface side of the first member, the first memberis changed in shape by injection pressure of the melted second thermoplastic material, and a convex partis formed at the first member.

The present invention provides a connector which can take an EMI measure for the first and second housings and can move the second housing with respect to the first housing. The connector comprises a plug which is provided so as to be movable with respect to the socket; a plurality of socket terminals which are resiliently deformed with a movement of the plug; a first socket side shield member which covers an outer circumference surface in the width direction of the socket; a plurality of plug terminals which are in contact with each of the socket terminals when the plug is mated with the socket; a plug side shield member which covers an outer circumference surface in the width direction of the plug; and first and second shield conductive portions which are in contact with each of the shield members and are resiliently deformed as the plug is moved.

A dust separation section is provided at a suction air passage between a suction opening of a vacuum cleaner main body and an intake opening of a motor fan to separate dust sucked from the suction opening with air and a dust collection section provided at the suction air passage for collecting the dust separated from the air from the dust separation section.
