An input signal Sx in a first millimeter-wave frequency band higher than 100 GHz is input to a millimeter-wave band filterin which a pair of radio wave half mirrorsA andB so as to opposite to each other and which performs a resonance operation. A signal component Sa corresponding to the resonance frequency of the filter is extracted, is mixed with a first local signal Lwith a fixed frequency, and is converted into a signal in a second frequency band. The converted signal component Sb is mixed with a second local signal Lwhose frequency is swept and is converted into a signal in a predetermined intermediate frequency band. Then, the level of the signal is detected. The millimeter-wave filterhas high selectivity characteristics in a frequency domain higher than 100 GHz and can change its passband center frequency.

Millimeter-wave band spectrum analysis device and analysis method

In a frequency converting system, an input signal x(t) is supplied to a signal branching section for dividing a predetermined frequency domain into M bands, extracting signal components of the respective divided bands. The respective signal components and local signals each including a frequency difference corresponding to a predetermined intermediate frequency with respect to a center frequency of each band are input to a frequency converting part. The signals of the respective divided bands are converted into signals of intermediate frequency bands each including the predetermined intermediate frequency as the center frequency, the conversion outputs are sampled by using a common clock signal, whereby the conversion outputs are converted into digital signals. Further, after being subjected to phase correction processing, the digital signals are subjected to frequency conversion and combination processing by a signal regeneration part.

Frequency converting system

A time-interleaved analog-to-digital converter stores in a correction information memory, correction information required to correct an error between signals output by a plurality of N analog-to-digital converters in advance. At this time, in order to enable acquisition of data required for a correction processing within a short period of time, a signal generator causes the plurality of N analog-to-digital converter to input a calibration signal including a plurality of signal components, each of which is positioned at a desired frequency in a bandwidth in which N/2 times of a sampling frequency Fs is defined as an upper limit, the signal components appearing in a bandwidth in which half times of the sampling clock frequency Fs is defined as an upper limit by sampling the analog-to-digital converters. A correction information calculating unit carries out a spectrum analysis relevant to analog-to-digital converted signals output by the plurality of N analog-to-digital converters in response to the calibration signal, thereby obtaining an amplitude and a phase of a plurality of signal components, newly obtaining the correction information, based on the amplitude and phase, and updating contents of the correction information memory in accordance with newly obtained correction information.

A digital signal processing apparatus includes an A/D converter for converting an analog input signal to digital data, a memory having a plurality of memory blocks for storing the digital data, and a processor for processing digital data when read out from the memory. A first controller cyclically stores output digital data from the A/D converter in the blocks in the memory in a predetermined order and outputs the stored data to the processor every time a first command is generated by a first command generator. A second controller inhibits updating of a specific block designated by a second command generator, and outputs the data from the specific block to the processor every time a second command is generated by the second command generator.

Digital signal processing apparatus

A digital signal processing apparatus has: an A/D converter for A/D converting an input signal to be processed to a digital signal, an analog comparator for comparing the input signal with a predetermined threshold voltage and generating a comparison signal as a binary signal, a first input device for inputting at least binary data of a reference wave to be triggered, a discriminator for discriminating a coincidence between the binary signal from the analog comparator and the binary data entered at the first input device and generating a coincidence signal, a fetching section, triggered in response to the coincidence signal from the discriminator, for fetching the digital signal from the A/D converter, and a processor for performing predetermined processing of the digital signal fetched by the fetching device.

Waveform sequence trigger system

Digital wave observation apparatus includes first and second A/D converters to convert input signals of first and second channels into corresponding first and second digital signals. First and second delay circuits selectively delay the first and second digital signals, and a wave memory stores signals output from the first and second delay circuits for purposes of display. A first command device receives channel designating data corresponding to the first channel and desired delay value setting data, and provides first delay data to a first delay value setting device coupled to the first delay circuit. A second command device receives designating data corresponding to the second channel and desired delay value setting data, and provides second delay data to the first delay value setting device and a second delay value setting device coupled to the second delay circuit.

Digital wave observation apparatus

In a digital wave observation apparatus having an A/D converter for A/D converting an input signal, a trigger level setting device for setting a trigger level, a trigger signal generator for comparing the input signal with a set trigger level and generating a trigger signal, a wave memory for storing an A/D converted input signal in response to the trigger signal, and a display for displaying the input signal stored in the wave memory, the apparatus has a trigger level display device for displaying a horizontal line corresponding to a trigger level on the display irrespective of generation of the trigger signal.
