In a printer that performs printing on a label of a continuous paper while feeding the continuous paper unwound from a paper sheet supply unit to a side of a printing head portion via a damper portion, a head pressure plate is arranged between an operating portion that adjusts a pressing force against a thermal head portion and a printing line of the thermal head portion such that the head pressure plate is formed extended to connect them.

At a printer that feeds a continuous paper unwound from a paper sheet supply unit in a sheet-shape to a printing head portion side via a damper portion, and then prints on a label of the continuous paper, in conjunction with an opening and closing operation of the printing head portion of the printing unit, the damper portion opens and closes in a vertical direction.

A two-way-openable printer includes a hinge portion for connecting an upper unit and a lower unit, provided at the rear of the printer, and a paper ejection opening of the printer at the front. The hinge portion has a lower hinge bracket connected to the lower unit, an upper hinge bracket connected to the lower hinge bracket with a pivot pin and pivotable about the pivot pin, and a bracket cover for the upper hinge bracket. The upper unit has a portion which allows the upper unit to pivot about the bracket cover. The upper unit has a first opening mode in which it is opened at the front ejection opening side, and a second opening mode in which it is fully opened by pivoting at the hinge portion so that a first side surface of the upper unit faces downward and an opposite side surface faces upward.

Opening/closing apparatus and printer having opening/closing apparatus

In a printer that performs printing on a label of a continuous paper while feeding the continuous paper unwound from a paper sheet supply unit, a platen roller portion is configured to be attachable and detachable only by operating an operating lever portion of an attaching and detaching operation portion. The attaching and detaching operation portion has its shaft fixed in a rotatable state between a bearing ring and a platen main body on one side in an axial direction of the platen roller portion. Pulling the operating lever portion of the attaching and detaching operation portion releases a locked state of the attaching and detaching operation portion itself and a locked state in the axial direction of the platen roller portion.

A configuration includes a paper sheet supply unit that supplies a continuous paper, a supporting stand that includes a platen roller feeding the continuous paper supplied from the paper sheet supply unit to a front along a paper passing route, a printing unit that includes a bracket to which a thermal head is mounted, prints on the continuous paper in a position opposing to the platen roller, and is disposed openable/closable in a vertical direction with respect to the supporting stand by the swinging bracket, and a support plate that swings in conjunction with opening and closing of the printing unit to displace a lower portion side of the thermal head to a front in an open position of the printing unit.
