A tubular combustion chamber including a tubular combustion chamber whose front-end is open; and, fuel-gas spraying nozzles and oxygen-containing-gas spraying nozzles, for spraying a fuel and an oxygen-containing-gas separately and individually, or for spraying a premixed gas; wherein respective orifices of the respective nozzles face toward an inner surface of the combustion chamber, so as to spray the fuel-gas and the oxygen-containing-gas in a neighborhood of a tangential direction of an inner circumferential wall of the combustion chamber; wherein the tubular flame burner is a multi-stage tubular burner that is unified in a body, by using a plurality of the tubular flame burners, and by connecting the front-end of the tubular flame burner with a smaller inner diameter of the combustion chamber into the rear-end of the tubular flame burner with a greater inner diameter of the combustion chamber.

Tubular flame burner and combustion control method

A tubular flame burner, a combustion method, and combustion controller, are disclosed. Here, the tubular flame burner comprises: a tubular combustion chamber whose h one end is open; fuel-spraying nozzles and oxygen-containing-gas spraying nozzles. The respective nozzle orifices are formed in the inner face of the combustion chamber so that each spraying direction is in a neighborhood of a tangential direction of the inner circumferential wall of the combustion chamber. And an ignition device is disposed at a position r/2 from the tube axis of the combustion chamber (r: the radius of the combustion chamber). The length of the combustion chamber can be adjusted, the tubular flame burner is a multi-stage burner formed of multiple tubular flame burners, and a gap between the inner tube and the outer tube serves as a gas-flow path. A combustion control method for the tubular flame burner is disclosed, wherein on/off of switching valves is controlled so that the spraying speed from each nozzle is maintained in a predetermined range corresponding to the combustion load.

An apparatus for hot-dip coating a steel strip, comprising: (a) an annealing furnace for continuously annealing the steel strip, the annealing furnace having an entrance side and an exit side; (b) a coating pot having a molten metal coating bath for coating the annealed steel strip; (c) a snout through which the annealed steel strip is introduced into the molten metal coating bath, one end of the snout being connected to the annealing furnace and the other end being immersed into the molten metal coating bath; (d) a seal device for sealing between the annealing furnace and the snout, the seal device being disposed at the exit side of the annealing furnace; and (e) a discharge device for discharging a gas containing a metal vapor from the snout to outside of the snout, the metal vapor being evaporated from the molten metal coating bath in the snout.

Apparatus for hot-dip coating a steel strip

A method for hot-dip coating a steel strip comprises: (a) continuously annealing the steel strip in an annealing furnace; (b) introducing the annealed steel strip into a molten metal coating bath through a snout; (c) dipping the annealed steel strip into the molten metal coating bath; (d) controlling a pressure inside of the snout; and (e) discharging a gas containing a metal vapor from the snout to outside of the snout. An apparatus comprises an annealing furnace, a coating pot, a control device for controlling a pressure inside the snout and a gas discharging device.

Continuous hot-dip coating method and apparatus therefor

An apparatus for continuously cooling a metal strip, which comprises: at least one cooling roll, which is freely rotatable and in contact with a metal strip continuously travelling in the longitudinal direction thereof, for continuously cooling the metal strip, a cooling liquid flowing through the interior of the cooling roll to continuously cool same, a contact area between the surface of the cooling roll and the surface of the metal strip being controllable; and a gas cooler, arranged on the exist side of the at least one cooling roll, for continuously cooling the metal strip by blowing a cooling gas onto the surface of the metal strip so as to achieve a uniform temperature distribution in the width direction of the metal strip after the final cooling thereof, the gas cooler comprising a plurality of mutually independent nozzle headers for blowing the cooling gas onto the surface of the metal strip, and the plurality of nozzle headers controlling at least one of a flow rate and a flow velocity of the cooling gas in the width direction of the metal strip.
