A brush tip for a cosmetic applicator which is hygienic by preventing the growth of bacteria and other germs in the area of the brush tip not impregnated with the application fluid, as well as the manufacturing method of the brush tip and a cosmetic applicator using the brush tip. This brush tip for a cosmetic applicator includes brush tip filaments and serving as an applying part of the cosmetic applicator having a cosmetic storage for storing a cosmetic fluid, with the rear end of the brush tip attached to the front end of the cosmetic storage. The brush tip incorporates a discharge port that communicates with the cosmetic storage of the cosmetic applicator, and a coating of an antimicrobial agent is formed on the surface of the brush tip filaments, located behind the discharge port inside the brush tip.

Brush tip for cosmetic applicator, method for manufacturing same and cosmetic applicator using same

Provided is a cosmetic applicator having an applying part at the tip end and a container containing liquid cosmetic to be applied through the applying part. A tip-most portion of the applying part is disposed at a position deviated from an axis of the applying part and an angle &#x3b8; between a line perpendicular to the axis and a side ridge line at applying part end ranges from 10&#xb0; to 60&#xb0;, a circular flange is formed at a rear end of the applying part, a projecting length of the applying part from a front barrel ranges from 5 to 8 mm, a ratio of a major and minor axis Y, X of an opening is Y:X=1.3 to 2:1, and when A and B respectively denote an applied area at deformation load of 0.01 N and that at 0.1 N, A&#x3c;B&#x3c;3A is satisfied.

Cosmetic applicator

A refill for a correction pen is constructed of a molded article of a polyamide resin obtained from monomers having an aromatic ring or a naphthene ring, a molded article of a blend of two or more kinds of polyamide resins, or a molded article having a multi-layered structure of two or more layers whose innermost layer in contact with the correction fluid is constituted of a polyamide resin. The applying part of a refill unit mounted on a ballpoint type applicator having a pressurizing mechanism in linkage with clicking action is formed by press fitting the rear end of a ballpoint pen tip having a rotatable ball to the attachment portion at the front end of an ink reservoir and a metal tube is squeezed to cover the outer periphery of the attachment portion at the front end of the ink reservoir to which the tip is fitted.

Refill for correction pen and refill unit

In order to inhibit titanium oxide from settling down over a long period of time and secure a leveling property of a coating fluid including an ink composition, provided is a coating fluid for a fluid applicator, comprising at least titanium oxide, a resin and an organic solvent, wherein an additive comprising an N-acylamino acid derivative whose fundamental frame is at least one selected from N-acylamino acid amides and N-acylamino acid esters is added in an amount of 0.6 to 4.5% by weight based on the total amount of the ink composition, and a content of the resin described above is 1.5 to 11 parts by weight based on a content of 1 part by weight of the additive described above.

Coating fluid and fluid applicator

A click type writing implement includes: a ball-pen refill composed of a point assembly at the front end thereof, an ink storage at the rear thereof and a pressurizing mechanism of a pumping type at the rear of the ink storage; an arrangement for holding the refill and engaging it so as to allow the tip of the point assembly to be projected from and retracted into the front end; and a clicking mechanism for keeping the tip of the point assembly projected, the clicking mechanism comprising: a first clicking mechanism for advancing and contracting ink by a short stroke and a second clicking mechanism for advancing and contracting ink by a large stroke, so that the rear end of ink can be pressurized at two levels so as to promote flow of ink toward the point assembly.
