There is provided a more expedient and positive desiccating means for an organic EL device. The invention relates to an organic EL device comprising 1) a laminate consisting of an opposed pair of electrodes and an organic light-emitting layer sandwiched between the electrodes, 2) a gas-tight housing accommodating the laminate and shielding off the external atmosphere and 3) a desiccating means disposed in isolation from the laminate within the gas-tight housing, characterized in that a preformed moisture-absorbing artifact as the desiccating means is fixedly secured to at least one part of the gas-tight housing and further to a method of manufacturing the same device.

Organic EL device and method for its manufacture

The present deodorizing substance is obtained by treating a raw material selected from sugar cane juice and sugar cane-derived molasses by column chromatography, and characterized in that the substance is a fraction obtained by passing the aforesaid raw material through a column packed with a synthetic adsorbent as a fixed carrier and eluting ingredients adsorbed on said synthetic adsorbent with a solvent selected from water, methanol, ethanol and a mixture thereof. The present deodorizing substance is inexpensive and has high safety. It may be used widely in foods and environmental protection fields.

An organic EL display panel having a substrate; a plurality of anode layers laminated on the substrate in a laminating direction and arranged with intervals in a direction perpendicular to the laminating direction. A high polymer layer is laminated on the anode layers; an organic EL layer is laminated on the high polymer layer; and a plurality of cathode layers is laminated on the organic EL layer in a laminating direction and arranged with spaces in a direction perpendicular to the laminating direction. The high polymer layer has an energizing region facing the cathode layers, and a gap region is disposed between the adjacent anode layers. The gap region has a conductivity lower than the energizing region. Further, a method for producing the organic EL display panel is disclosed.

Multilayer molded article

An integrally molded air-bag cover article is disclosed which contains an air-bag cover section which is made of a resin and has a periphery, and a frame section which is made of a resin and is integrally and continuously formed with the periphery by way of a weak section. The weak section is constituted by a resin junction in which an interface of the resin constituting the air-bag cover section and an interface of the resin constituting the frame section are joined together by bonding action between the resins. A continuous groove and a continuous protrusion are respectively formed on a front surface and a rear surface of the integrally molded air-bag cover article. The weak section is formed so as to extend from an inner face of the groove to an outer face of the protrusion.
