A first high frequency processing unit detects a first broadcasting wave transmitted using a first frequency band, and extracts a first high frequency signal. Further, a second high frequency processing unit detects a second broadcasting wave transmitted using a second frequency band different from the first frequency band, and extracts a second high frequency signal. An object of the present invention is to provide a dielectric ceramic composition in which a volume changing ratio of the electrostatic capacity is within &plusmn;0.3% over a wide temperature range of &minus;55 to &plus;125&deg; C., it satisfies the NPO characteristics regulated by EIA standard, the dielectric constant is high as 75 or more and the Q value of 2000 or higher and it is capable of subjecting to sintering at a low temperature of 1100 to 1150&deg; C. The dielectric ceramic composition of the present invention is a (Ba Ca Sr Nd Gd)TiO,series composition and to the composition was added and contained 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of ZnSiTiO,, 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of ZnSi,TiO,or 1.0 to 5.0% by weight of CaSiTiO,based on the weight of the composition.

Dielectric ceramic composition

A dielectric ceramic composition including a compound of the BaTiO.sub.3 --Nb.sub.2 O.sub.5 --Co.sub.3 O.sub.4 group. The composition contains 1.1-1.4 mo. % of in total Nb.sub.2 O.sub.5 and Co.sub.3 O.sub.4 wherein the molar ration of Nb.sub.2 O.sub.5 to Co.sub.3 O.sub.4 is between 4.4 and 5.0. The composition contains 0.02-0.06% by weight of MnCO.sub.3, 0.02-0.25% by weight of Nd.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.02-0.10% by weight of Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 and 0.05-0.15% by weight of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 with respect to the weight of the composition. Laminated ceramic capacitors including the dielectric ceramic material show a capacity changing ration which is less than 15% in the temperature range between -55.degree. C. and +125.degree. C., a dielectric loss which is smaller than 3.5% and a dielectric constant which is 4000 or more.

In conventional fluidized granulators whose housing is made of a steel plate, a powder tends to cause blocking if it is highly hygroscopic, and the bag filter used therein causes clogging. These problems have been solved in the present invention by forming the housing of a fluidized granulator with a porous membrane in place of the conventional steel plate. This fluidized granulator produces granules or a coated powder by spraying powder with water, a binder fluid or a coating fluid while maintaining the powder in a fluidized state.

A ceramic piezoelectric, includes a thick core formed of a sintered ceramic material, and a pair of electrodes formed on opposing end faces of the core, wherein the electrodes are a reduced form of the ceramic material of the core. The electrodes may also be a reduced layer of an oxide formed on the ceramic material of the core.

A semiconductive ceramic composition capable of permitting its resistance-temperature characteristics and resistance to be controlled as desired and a firing temperature of the composition to be lowered to a degree sufficient to facilitate the mass-production at a low cost. The composition contains a main component consisting of SrO, PbO and TiO.sub.2 and is subjected to firing in an oxidizing atmosphere. The composition may contain at least one of SiO.sub.2 and M as a minor component. A variation in amount of the main and minor components permits characteristics and properties of the composition to be varied as desired.

A ceramic capacitor, includes a thick core formed of a sintered ceramic material, and a pair of electrodes formed on opposing end faces of the core, wherein the electrodes are a reduced form of the ceramic material of the core. The electrodes may also be a reduced layer of an oxide formed on the ceramic material of the core.

The spray drying process and the apparatus therefor, of the present invention use a spray drying chamber formed by a heat-resistant porous membrane. Said porous membrane enables rapid separation of a discharge gas and a produced powder and accordingly total recovery of the produced powder from the spray drying chamber. Therefore, there occurs no nonuniformity in product composition; cleaning and blowing-off of adhered fine powder can be conducted rapidly and easily even in frequent product changes inevitable with a less grade larger quantity production system; as a result, a fine powder of higher quality and higher purity can be produced.

The spray drying process and the apparatus therefor, of the present invention use a spray drying chamber formed by a heat-resistant porous membrane. A discharge lamp device includes a tube, and a cathode disposed in said tube and made of a valence-compensated semiconductor ceramic material, or a forcibly reduced semiconductor ceramic material, or a valence-compensated and forcibly reduced semiconductor ceramic material. Since the cathode does not include an electron-emitting material, but uses a semiconductor ceramic material, no vapor is produced by the cathode and also the cathode does not react with mercury vapor filled in the tube. Therefore, the discharge lamp device has improved characteristics such as greater heat resistance, better chemical resistance, and improved discharge characteristics. The discharge lamp device is less costly because the semiconductor ceramic material used as the cathode is inexpensive.

A D-E hysteresis loop of ferroelectrics known in the art has a square shape when the ferroelectrics are a BaTiO.sub.3 single crystal. Such ferroelectrics are used as a non-linear dielectric element of, for example a pulse generating device. The non-linear dielectric element according to the present invention consists of a polycrystal mainly composed of Ba(Ti.sub.0.90-0.98 Sn.sub.0.02-1.00)O.sub.3 and having an average grain diameter of from 10 to 60 .mu.m. The non-linearity is excellent and the temperature dependence of the non-linearity is considerably low.
