In an electronic money storing apparatus in an electronic money transaction system for transmitting and receiving electronic money between electronic money cards holding electronic money, IC cards are loaded to each of a plurality of IC card read/write unit connected to a controller. Each of the IC cards holds electronic money and transmits and receives electronic money with another IC card in the electronic money transaction system. The controller reads and writes the electronic money of the IC cards loaded to a selected IC card read/write unit and transmits and receives the electronic money between that IC card and an electronic money storing media external of the electronic money storing apparatus.

Electronic money storing apparatus and IC card control method

An electronic money coffer with an improved safety relative to an abnormal state such as fire. The electronic money coffer is provided with a depository unit having a structure resistant to an abnormal state. The depository unit accommodates the optional number of electronic money storing media such as IC cards excepting those electronic money storing media used in ordinary electronic money dealing. When a sensor detects an abnormal state such as abnormal temperature and smoke caused by a fire or the like, the values of electronic money in the electronic money storing media used in ordinary electronic money dealing are transferred to the electronic money storing media in the depository unit. The electronic money coffer can maintain by itself the safety of electronic money when a fire or the like occurs. The assets in an electronic money dealing system can be safely and reliably managed by the electronic money coffer which is compact and cost effective.

Electronic money coffer

In an electronic money storing apparatus in an electronic money transaction system for transmitting and receiving electronic money between electronic money cards holding electronic money, IC cards are loaded to each of a plurality of IC card read/write unit connected to a controller. Each of the IC cards holds electronic money and transmits and receives electronic money with another IC card in the electronic money transaction system. The controller reads and writes the electronic money of the IC cards loaded to a selected IC card read/write unit and transmits and receives the electronic money between that IC card and an electronic money storing media the external of the electronic money storing apparatus.

Signals are transmitted using light or the like in a cordless manner between a keyboard and a controller related thereto. The keyboard transmits a signal that indicates a keycode corresponding to a key to the controller in a cordless manner, and the controller sends the keycode signal back to the keyboard. The keyboard compares the transmitted keycode with the received keycode to check whether the keycode signal is correctly transmitted to the controller. When the communication is to be carried out between a plurality of keyboards and the related controllers, a device code specific to the keyboard is attached to the keycode such that the individual keyboards can be identified.

Cordless keyboard

Method and apparatus for converting a hivision TV image signal to a computer terminal image signal are disclosed. Three line memories are provided for three continuous scan lines in a field. Data of one scan line of a hivision TV image signal is written into one of the three line memories and data previously written into other two are read therefrom. A read sampling clock period is set to be 4/5 of a write sampling clock period, and the outputs of the two line memories are linearly interpolated so that the scan lines appear at the same position in first and second fields.

Method and apparatus for converting an image signal

A driving circuit uses an output transistor and a driving transformer with a secondary coil being connected to the base of the output transistor. In order to get a high speed switching circuit without thermal runaway, the storage period of the output transistor is detected. A signal supplied to a primary coil of the driving transformer, for example, a driving pulse, is controlled in response to the detected value of the storage period. By minimizing the value of the storage period, it becomes possible to minimize a fall time of the output transistor, so that a stability of the driving circuit can be maintained.

Transistor driving circuit and circuit controlling method

A deflection yoke unit to be mounted on a cathode ray tube has a core on which a set of vertical deflection coils and a set of horizontal deflection coils are wound. A pincushion distortion correction device is provided for the deflection yoke unit. The correction device has a set of correction coils having a coil conductor mass quantity and an inductance which are smaller than those of the vertical deflection coil set and having a winding density distribution which is similar to that of the vertical deflection coil set. An upper and lower pincushion distortion correction current is passed through the correction coil set to correct upper and lower pincushion distortions in pictures displayed on a screen of the cathode ray tube. The core has, on its inner wall, slots in which windings of the horizontal deflection coil set, vertical deflection coil set and correction coil set for correction of the upper and lower pincushion picture distortions are received. A plurality of winding guide claw members having each two or three slots are attached to a front open end and a rear open end of the core, respectively. Front end conductors of the respective coil sets are separately placed in the slots at the front open end of the core and rear end conductors of the respective coil sets are separately placed in the slots at the rear open end of the core.

Pincushion distortion correction device

A horizontal deflection output circuit, such as used in a TV receiver or a display device, includes a series circuit composed of a ringing preventing resistor and a one-way switching element connected in parallel with a linearity correcting coil. That one-way switching element is turned on at the beginning of a horizontal scanning period to feed a current to the ringing preventing resistor but is turned off in the vicinity of a fly-back period to block the flow of the current to the ringing preventing resistor. Thus, the power loss due to the current flowing through the ringing preventing resistor for the fly-back period can be reduced according to the present invention.

Horizontal deflection output circuit

A drive circuit having a transformer with its secondary winding connected to the base of a transistor and its primary winding connected to a drive source by which the transistor is driven to switch, wherein a directional element is connected between a tap provided on the secondary winding and one end of the secondary winding so as to select the ratio between the forward base current and reverse base current of the transistor.

Drive circuit for driving a transistor

A cascode amplifier comprises a grounded-emitter drive transistor which has a collector supplied with a bias current from a bias current source and operates in response to an input signal and a grounded-base (or grounded-gate) output transistor which has a collector supplied with a bias current from a constant voltage source, wherein the collector of the drive transistor is connected to the emitter (or source) of the output transistor. A constant current circuit is connected to the junction between the collector of the drive transistor and the emitter (or source) of the output transistor for supplying a part of the bias current applied to the drive transistor to thereby decrease the bias current of the output transistor while causing the drive transistor to be operated in the linear region. The cascode amplifier is thus imparted with a broad band frequency characteristic.

Cascode amplifier with an improved biasing arrangement

An amplitude-adjusting circuit used for a contrast-adjusting circuit of resistor division type in which a video signal is applied across a pair of series-connected resistors and an output is produced from the junction point of the two resistors. At least one of the resistors is used as a variable resistor. The amplitude-adjusting circuit comprises a current source for supplying a constant current steadily between the terminals of the variable resistor, a high-gain amplifier for controlling the resistance value of the variable resistor, and a filter for separating the video signal component from the change of the value of the variable resistor represented by a voltage change, and introducing the resistance change to the high-gain differential amplifier.

Amplitude adjusting equipment in a signal translation line

A gamma correction circuit is provided with a first circuit including a first linear element and a first non-linear element connected in series in the above order and a second circuit including a second non-linear element and a second linear element connected in series in the above order. A first connection point is located between the first linear element and the second non-linear element and a second connection point is located between the first non-linear element and the second linear element. A current source for converting a video signal voltage into a current output is connected to the second connection point. Two common collector (or common drain) transistors have their collectors (or their drains) connected to a power supply line. The input terminals of these transistors are connected to the connection point between the first linear element and the first non-linear element and to the connection point between the second non-linear element and the second linear element respectively, and the output terminals are connected to each other through a resistor. In order to decrease the junction capacitance of the transistors as the video signal voltage level increases, a voltage regulator circuit is connected between the power supply line and the first connection point.

Gamma correction circuit

A horizontal deflection circuit comprises a horizontal oscillator circuit, a drive transistor, a horizontal output transistor driven by the output of the drive transistor, a timing circuit for setting a timing delayed by about one fourth the horizontal scanning period from the terminating point of the flyback pulse generated at the collector of the horizontal output transistor, a phase difference detector circuit for detecting the phase difference between the leading edge of the collector pulse of the horizontal drive transistor and the timing set by the timing circuit, and a pulse duration variable output circuit triggered by the output of the horizontal oscillator circuit and with the output pulse duration thereof controlled by the output of the phase difference detector circuit. The horizontal drive transistor is driven by the output of the pulse duration variable output circuit, so that the leading edge of the collector pulse of the horizontal drive transistor is rendered to coincide with the timing set by the timing circuit.

Horizontal deflection circuit

A capacitor is provided between each cathode of a three-electron-gun color picture tube with three first grids earthed and each transistor amplifier for amplifying each primary color signal. The charging voltage across each capacitor is adjusted by a variable resistor provided corresponding to each capacitor. A variable DC voltage is produced at the sliding terminal of each variable resistor. A switch is provided between the sliding terminal and each cathode, which is turned on during the flyback period and the scanning period.
