A light-emitting module may be configured to have improved light emission efficiency and light distribution characteristics. A light-emitting module may include a substrate having a front surface side as a component mounting surface and a rear surface side as a flat heat dissipating surface, a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged in a manner protruding at a central portion of the component mounting surface of the substrate. The light-emitting elements may radiate light at least in an upper surface direction and in a direction along the component mounting surface. The module may further include one or more lighting circuit components electrically connected to the light emitting elements by a wiring pattern arranged on the substrate and which is arranged closer to the peripheral edge side of the substrate than the light emitting elements on the component mounting surface of the substrate, and a connector for power supply connection.

Light-emitting module and lighting apparatus

A switching power supply apparatus according to an embodiment includes a switching element, an inductor, a drive circuit, a mounting substrate, and an insulating substrate. The switching element is connected between a power supply and a lighting load. The inductor is connected in series to the switching element. The drive circuit controls the switching element, converts a voltage supplied from the power supply, and is mounted on the mounting substrate. The insulating substrate is thermally connected to the switching element, and has thermal conductivity higher than the mounting substrate.

According to one embodiment, a lighting control system includes a plurality of luminaire, a sensor device, a luminance sensor, and a lighting control unit. The luminaires are set in a lighting space. The sensor device detects presence of a person in the lighting space. The luminance sensor detects indirect luminance in a predetermined position in the lighting space by the luminaire. The lighting control unit subjects the luminaire to lighting control such that the indirect luminance detected by the luminance sensor does not fall below a predetermined value in a position where the sensor device detects presence of the person.

When an amount of light emitted outside from the equipment is an equipment luminous flux, and a direction right under the equipment has a luminous intensity distribution angle of 0&#xb0;, the light control unit controls to cause a luminous flux falling within a range of a luminous intensity distribution angle of 90&#xb0; to 120&#xb0; to be 20% or more of the equipment luminous flux and to cause a luminous flux falling within a range of a luminous intensity distribution angle of 60&#xb0; to 90&#xb0; to be 20% or less of the equipment luminous flux.

Luminaire controlling a luminous intensity distribution

The invention provides a self-ballasted lamp having high heat radiation performance, which is lightweight and inexpensive. A substrate having LED elements mounted is provided at one edge side of the radiator, and a cap is provided at the other edge side the radiator. A lighting circuit is accommodated between the radiator and the cap. The radiator includes a cylindrical cover member and an annular radiation member fitted to the outer circumferential part of the cover member and is composed by combining the cover member and the radiation member together. The cover member and the radiation member are made of metal and are formed by press-working.

In the lighting control device according to the exemplary embodiment, the detection section detects the presence or absence of a person in a lighting area and a movement speed of a person, based on an image data of the lighting area that is lighted by a light source of a plurality of lighting apparatuses and is acquired from an imaging device. A decision section decides whether each of division areas is a stay area or a non-stay area based on the movement speed of a person detected by the detection section. Plural luminaires are installed in a lighting space surrounded by a wall part. A sensor equipment detects existence or nonexistence of a person in the lighting space. If existence of a person in the lighting space is detected, the sensor equipment detects a direction of the person. The sensor equipment detects a distance between the wall part positioned in front of the direction of the person and the person. A lighting control unit selectively switches between a first control for performing lighting control of the luminaires to illuminate the wall part positioned in front of the direction of the person if the detected distance is a specified distance or less, and a second control for performing lighting control of the luminaires to reduce brightness at a place as the place becomes farther from a position of the person if the detected distance is larger than the specified distance.

A lighting system according to embodiments includes a first light source, a second light source, a first lighting circuit, a second lighting circuit, a signal input unit, and a control circuit. The first light source has a predetermined color temperature. The second light source has a color temperature which is different from that of the first light source. The first lighting circuit lights the first light source. The second lighting circuit lights the second light source. The signal input unit receives an external signal. The control circuit includes a first light source lighting control cycle which performs a predetermined lighting control of the first light source, and a second light source lighting control cycle which performs a predetermined lighting control of the second light source, controls the first and second lighting circuits so as to start the lighting control.

Lighting system and control method thereof

A lighting device may include a substrate attached to one edge side of a radiator and a cover may be attached to cover the substrate. Heat-radiating fins may be provided on the other edge side of the radiator and an air-cooling unit may be rotatably provided inside the heat-radiating fins, thereby enabling freely rotation. In one or more examples, a case storing a circuit part is attached to the other edge side of the radiator and a cap is provided to the case. By the air flow from the air-cooling unit, the heat-radiating fins are caused to be a part of the ventilation path to allow for ventilation of the inside of the radiator.

According to one embodiment, a lighting device includes a control circuit that includes a threshold for a case where a pair of the illumination lamps are connected in series between a positive output end and a negative output end of a power supply circuit, and a threshold for a case where one illumination lamp is connected between the positive output end and the negative output end of the power supply circuit. The control circuit determines the connected lamp number of the illumination lamps to a direct-current power supply device based on a voltage between the positive output end and the negative output end of the power supply circuit and a voltage between a non-potential connection end and the positive output end or the negative output end, and selects the threshold corresponding to the connected lamp number to control the direct-current power supply device.

There is provided a lighting fixturecapable of efficiently radiating heat of a lamp deviceattached to a socket device. By attaching the lamp deviceto the socket device, a cap portionof the lamp device is brought into contact with a fixture body, and pressed against and brought into contact with the fixture bodyby an elastic body. Heat generated by lighting of LEDsof the lamp deviceis conducted from the cap portionto the fixture bodyand efficiently radiated.

According to one embodiment, an LED lighting device includes a DC source, a non-insulated step-down chopper and a light emitting diode. The non-insulated step-down chopper includes: a first circuit in which a switching element, a current detecting impedance element and an inductor are connected in series to each other; a second circuit in which the inductor and a freewheel diode are connected in series to each other; and a control portion for controlling the switching element. A power portion including the switching element and the control portion are constituted by a single package IC, and the current detecting impedance element and inductor are attached to the outside of the IC.
