Disclosed is an asphalt composition to which a water soluble prepolymer which is resinified while the reaction proceeds gradually in the aqueous solution is added, wherein the strength of the asphalt composition is notably improved. The composition has superior heat resistance and is excellent in removing deposits in the fuel intake systems and in keeping the systems clean.
