An image display apparatus includes an optical engine unit and a control unit, the optical engine unit being provided with a projection window guiding laser light to the exterior and the control unit rotatably supporting the optical engine unit. An object of the present invention is to provide an image processing apparatus in which a delay from start of image data input to start of coding is small, the capacity of a temporary storage device used for temporarily storing the image data to be coded is small, and the possibility of discarding the image data is low even when coding is delayed and, therefore, the image quality is hardly degraded. Method of designing semiconductor integrated circuit device

Spiral tracks are formed on a recording surface of an information disk such as an optical disk, and data is recorded by interleaving technique as well as adding error correction information. A disk driver rotates the information disk at a specified speed. Plural tracks are read simultaneously by a reading device. Analog data of the plural lines are converted into digital data by an A/D converter, and stored in a frame data buffer memory by each line. The data are respectively decoded sequentially in a decoder. When the disk makes one rotation, the data of next track is read in duplicate as much as the portion of the interleaving length of the tail data of each one of the plural tracks being read on the information disk. By data aligning means, according to a command from a controller, the data&mdash;corresponding to the number of tracks that can be read simultaneously&mdash;being output in parallel from the decoder are aligned sequentially from the head data on the information disk. The data corresponds to the number of tracks that can be read simultaneously. The data output means outputs valid data out of the data aligned by the data aligning means to the outside of the device by the command from the controller.

Multi-track disk reproducing apparatus and reproducing method thereof

A conversion unit having a bidirectional conversion function of converting analog video signals into digital image data and vice versa and a processing unit having a function of encoding image data and of decoding encoded data are provided. A data transmission control unit switches the flow direction of each of image data and encoded data in response to an encoder/decoder switch signal. A process control unit performs switching of the receiving/transmitting of a control signal such as a transmission clock signal relating to encoded data in response to a master/slave set signal.

A color correction device for correcting colors in a color image, comprising: standard point registration means for registering coordinates of a standard point on a color space for at least one color to be used as a standard for color correction; object point registration means for registering coordinates of an object point on the color space which corresponds to a standard point and which is a desired color after color correction; and coordinate conversion means for determining a mapping function based on the standard point and the object point, and for generating a corrected color image by using the mapping function to convert pre-correction points on the color space which are equivalent to a color of each pixel in an inputted pre-correction image. By means of the construction described above, all of the colors in a color space can be converted based on at least one pair of standard point and object point. As a result, precise color correction can be easily achieved.

Color correction device and color correction method

A bus switch is connected among an input buffer memory, a data memory, and an encoding unit, to select between a first bus connection of the input buffer memory and the data memory and a second bus connection of the data memory and the encoding unit. A data transfer control unit controls the bus switch to select the first bus connection in response to a data request signal from the encoding unit, controls the process of reading from the input buffer memory and the process of writing into the data memory, controls the bus switch to select the second bus connection upon completion of the transfer of one unit of image data, and sends a transfer completion signal in order of causing the encoding unit to start performing encoding processing. This makes it possible to transfer image data from the input buffer memory to the data memory at high speed.
