An imaging device includes an illuminator, a stage, a plurality of microlenses, an imaging element, and a controller. The controller is configured to control at least one of an irradiation position of light beams from the illuminator, and the position of the plurality of microlenses to realize a first state and a second state. A first angle of the light beams incident to each of the plurality of microlenses in the first state and a second angle of the light beams incident to each of the plurality of microlenses in the second state are different from each other.

A cell-image acquisition device includes: a stage supporting a vessel containing a cell and a culture fluid; a light source emitting illumination light; a focusing lens disposed below the stage and focusing, when the illumination light is made to enter from above a liquid surface of the culture fluid, light transmitted through the vessel; an aperture disposed so as to block part of the focused light; an image acquisition element acquiring an image of light passing through the aperture and having pixels arrayed in a straight line; a movement mechanism including guide rails and a motor and moving the light source, the focusing lens, the aperture, and the image acquisition element, relative to the stage, in a horizontal direction perpendicular to an array direction of the pixels; and a controller adjusting an incident angle of the illumination light on the liquid surface, about an axis parallel to the array direction.

Cell-image acquisition device

An imaging device includes a stage, an imaging element, a plurality of lenses, a plurality of diaphragms, an adjuster, and a controller. Light passing through each of the plurality of lenses passes through any one of the plurality of diaphragms. The controller is configured to control at least one of a diameter of the opening in each of the plurality of diaphragms and a position of each of the plurality of diaphragms in the optical axis direction of the imaging element so that a size of a valid area of a plurality of images projected on the imaging element by the plurality of lenses is equal to or greater than a first reference value. The valid area is an area on which each of the plurality of images is projected, excluding an area in which two adjacent images overlap.

An imaging device includes: an imaging lens; an image sensor that includes a photodetector cell array in which a plurality of photodetector cells are disposed in an array; a lens array for generating disparity images that is provided between the imaging lens and the image sensor, and includes a plurality of lenses that are disposed in an array; and a processor including hardware, wherein the processor acquires rotation information that represents a relative direction of an image of an object formed by the imaging lens and the image sensor, and generates disparity images based on the acquired rotation information and image information obtained from the image sensor.
