An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus for generating plasma by focusing a treatment laser beam to treat a treatment target portion of a patient's eye with the plasma includes: an irradiation optical system configured to irradiate the treatment laser beam to the patient's eye; a position adjusting unit configured to adjust a focusing position of the treatment laser beam in an optical axis direction with respect to a predetermined focusing reference position; an energy adjusting unit configured to adjust irradiation energy of the treatment laser beam; a storage unit configured to store evaluation information to evaluate a permissible combination of the focusing position and the irradiation energy with respect to the focusing position; and an evaluation unit configured to evaluate a combination of the focusing position adjusted by the position adjusting unit and the irradiation energy adjusted by the energy adjusting unit based on the evaluation information.

Ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus

A laser treatment apparatus configured to emit laser light onto a tissue of a patient's eye, the laser treatment apparatus includes: a laser scanner configured to scan laser light emitted from a laser light source and switch a position of the tissue onto which laser light is emitted; a processor; and memory storing computer readable instructions, which are executed by the processor, causing the laser treatment apparatus to: (a) emit the laser light onto a first spot; (b) stop emitting the laser light onto the first spot for a stop time; (c) emit the laser light onto at least one second spot other than the first spot during the stop time; (d) emit the laser light onto the first spot again after the stop time elapses; and repeat (b), (c) and (d) several times to execute intermittent irradiation treatment onto a plurality of spots multiple times.

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus includes: an irradiation optical system including an optical scanner for two-dimensionally scanning spots of a treatment laser beam and an aiming beam on eye tissue; a control unit to control the irradiation optical system to irradiate the treatment beam to a spot position based on an irradiation pattern of spots for treatment beam irradiation and based on an aiming rule associated with the irradiation pattern to irradiate the aiming beam to indicate the treatment beam spot position; and a movement unit to move an irradiation position of each beam. The control unit irradiates the treatment beam to a sequence of spots from a n-th position to a m-th position in association with the irradiation pattern, and then controls the movement unit and irradiates the aiming beam based on the aiming rule to a position different from the spot position just irradiated by the treatment beam.

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus, comprising: an emitted treatment laser beam; an emitted aiming beam; an irradiation unit including a zoom lens and a scanner for scanning in two dimensions, and being arranged to irradiate both beams to the eye; an irradiation pattern setting unit including a switch for setting an irradiation pattern in which a plurality of spots is arranged; and a controller for controlling the aiming beam based on the set pattern during aiming before irradiation of the treatment beam, the controller being configured to divide the spots in the set pattern into two or more groups and switch the positions of the spots of the aiming beam at a predetermined time interval in each group to irradiate the aiming beam so that the irradiation spots of the aiming beam in a group before switching and another group after switching are not recognized simultaneously by an operator.

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus for treating an eye including: an irradiation unit including a laser source, and a scanner for scanning an irradiation spot from the laser source onto a tissue of the eye in two dimensions; a memory for storing a plurality of predetermined irradiation patterns in each of which a plurality of the irradiation spots are arranged in a predetermined arrangement; an irradiation pattern selecting unit including a switch for inputting a signal to select a pattern from the patterns stored in the memory; an pattern changing unit including a switch for inputting a signal to change part of the arrangement of the irradiation pattern in which irradiation spots are arranged on the basis of the selected irradiation pattern; and a control unit for controlling driving of the irradiation unit to sequentially irradiate the beam based on the irradiation pattern changed by the pattern changing unit.

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus for treating a patient's eye by irradiating a treatment laser beam thereto, comprises: an irradiation unit including a treatment laser source, and a scanner for scanning an irradiation spot of the treatment beam from the laser source onto a tissue of the patient's eye in two dimensions; a memory for storing a plurality of predetermined irradiation patterns in each of which a plurality of the irradiation spots of the treatment beam are arranged in a predetermined arrangement; an irradiation pattern selecting unit including a selection switch for inputting a signal to select a desired irradiation pattern from the irradiation patterns stored in the memory; an irradiation pattern changing unit including a change switch for inputting a signal to change a part of the arrangement of the irradiation pattern in which the irradiation spots are arranged on the basis of the selected irradiation pattern by the irradiation pattern selecting unit; and a control unit for controlling driving of the irradiation unit to sequentially irradiate the treatment beam based on the irradiation pattern changed by the irradiation pattern changing unit.

A laser treatment apparatus for irradiating a laser beam to a patient's eye, comprises: a plurality of laser sources which emit treatment laser beams having different wavelengths, each laser source being held in a main body to be mountable and demountable and connected to a power source through a connector; a light delivery optical system having a mirror for making the laser beams from the laser sources coaxial with each other to deliver each laser beam to the patient's eye; an input unit for inputting mounting information of each laser source; a control unit which checks a predetermined operation of each laser source by a sensor at the time of activation to determine whether an abnormality is present or not in each laser source, and displays an indication that the abnormality is present on a display, wherein the control unit will not perform the operation check whether the abnormality is present or not in the laser source or laser sources unmounted in the main body, based on the mounting information input by the input unit.

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus comprises: a main unit in which an illumination and observation optical system for illuminating a patient's eye and allowing observation of the patient's eye under illumination, and an irradiation optical system for irradiating a treatment laser beam and an aiming beam to the patient's eye; a joystick including a grip to be grasped by an operator, the joystick being configured to move the main unit with respect to the patient's eye; and a switch placed in an opening formed in a side of the joystick, the switch being configured to input a plurality of switch signals.

A laser treatment apparatus for irradiating an affected part of a patient with a treatment laser beam to treat the affected part is disclosed. The apparatus includes a treatment beam irradiation part including an irradiation optical system for delivering the treatment laser beam to the affected part to irradiate it; an input part for inputting an instruction signal of irradiation of the treatment laser beam; a mode selection part for selecting one of an irradiation ready mode in which the irradiation of the treatment laser beam is enabled when the irradiation instruction signal is input with the input part and a standby mode in which the irradiation of the treatment laser beam is disabled even if the irradiation instruction signal is input; a detection part for detecting whether an operator is in a predetermined condition to enable the laser irradiation; and an irradiation control part for controlling the irradiation of the treatment laser beam in accordance with a selection result by the mode selection part, a detection result by the detection part, and a presence/absence of input of the irradiation instruction signal.

A laser treatment apparatus for treating an affected part of a patient by irradiating the affected part with a treatment laser beam. The treatment beam is emitted from a laser source connected to a control unit. A plurality of trigger switches for inputting a trigger signal for starting the emission of the treatment beam and a selection switch for inputting a selection signal for selecting one of the trigger switches are also connected to the control unit. The control unit controls only the trigger switch selected with the selection switch to be enabled.
