An X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, image generating circuitry, and processing circuitry. The X-ray tube emits X-rays. The X-ray detector detects X-rays emitted from the X-ray tube and transmitted through a subject. The processing circuitry receives a designating operation related a display mode for a target that is at least one of a region of the subject and an object inserted in the subject. In response to the designating operation, the processing circuitry changes the display mode of the target in an X-ray projection image that is based on a detection result of the X-ray detector, the display mode being changed based on three-dimensional medical image data related to the subject.

According to an embodiment, there is provided that processing circuitry configured to determine a first radiation timing at which a subject is irradiated with an X-ray, based on information on motion of an object in X-ray image data, the information on motion being calculated by the X-ray image data, the X-ray image data being associated with an electrocardiographic waveform of the subject, and repeatedly irradiate the subject with an X-ray at the first radiation timing per cycle of the electrocardiographic waveform of the subject.

The position specifying circuitry specifies a position of the holding mechanism in the examination room and a position of the bed in the examination room. The control circuitry controls the holding mechanism in order to change a position and angle of the holding mechanism based on the position of the holding mechanism and the position of the bed.

The input button provides on at least one of an exterior of the support frame and an exterior of the X-ray detector and inputs an instruction to implement an assigned moving operation pattern of a plurality of moving operation patterns concerning movement of at least one of the support frame, the X-ray detector, and a table top. The processing circuitry assigns the input button with an instruction to implement a moving operation pattern, of the plurality of moving operation patterns, which is selected by an operator.

An X-ray image diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment includes: an image processing unit configured to create a synthesized image by synthesizing an X-ray image of a region of interest inside a given region and an X-ray image of a peripheral region excluding the region of interest in the given region, wherein when the region of interest is changed, the image processing unit acquires an X-ray image of a changed region which is in the region of interest before the change and is changed to the peripheral region, from the X-ray image of the region of interest before the change, and then superimposes the X-ray image of the changed region on the X-ray image of the peripheral region to create the synthesized image.

According to one embodiment, an X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes an X-ray tube, first detector, second detector, arm, sliding mechanism, tilting mechanism, and control unit. The X-ray tube includes an anode to generate X-rays upon receiving electrons. The first detector has the first pixel size. The second detector has the second pixel size smaller than the first pixel size. The arm pivotally supports the X-ray tube, first detector, and second detector. The sliding mechanism slidably supports the first and second detectors so as to irradiate one of the first and second detectors with the X-rays generated by the X-ray tube. The tilting mechanism tiltably supports the X-ray tube to change the size of an effective X-ray focal spot on the anode. The control unit controls the sliding of the first and second detectors by the sliding mechanism upon interlocking with the tilting of the X-ray tube by the tilting mechanism.

The image processor is coupled to the detector and is configured to prepare a fluoroscopic image data as the X-ray image based on the X-ray data. The image processor also corrects a deformation of the fluoroscopic image data.
