A reinforcement structure for a seat back frame includes a panel material; and a frame material joined to the panel material. The frame material is formed as a hat-type frame material including a web portion which is formed as a substantial U shape from a cross-sectional view and which forms a closed cross-sectional shape with the panel material, and a flange which is formed as one with the web portion and which is also joined to the panel material. A bead is formed in the panel material in a position opposing to the frame material.

Reinforcement structure for seat back frame

A seat back structure includes, a seat back frame which includes a panel material and a frame material joined with the panel material; a side frame which is included in the frame material and which is positioned in at least one edge side in a width direction of the panel material; and a first vulnerable portion which is formed in the side frame and which deforms when a load from an impact is applied. There is provided a molded body including a main portion and a bank portion each of which is formed by foaming and molding a foam material. The main portion is made of urethane material which is softer than the material for the bank portion. At a boundary portion between the main and bank portions, the main portion is formed in a continuous interlocking profile and the bank portion is also formed in another continuous interlocking profile. The interlocking profile and the another interlocking profile are mated to each other so as to prevent separation between the main portion and the bank portion in a direction of an arrow (vehicle width direction). The boundary portion is provided by partitioning the cavity in a single mold with a weir, introducing different foam materials into both sides of the weir and foaming the introduced materials.

A vehicle seat is provided in which a projecting part is integrally provided in a middle part of a lower frame of a seat back frame forming a framework of a seat back and is extending further forward and upward than the lower frame. This enables the impact absorption when the seat back receives an impact load from the rear to be enhanced, while stabilizing the supporting force applied to the occupant by the seat back for supporting the occupant's back.

A vehicle seat is provided in which a pressure-receiving member receiving the back of an occupant through an upper linking wire is supported on a seat back frame of a seat back, and an abutment member is provided on the pressure-receiving member, the abutment member restricting an amount of flexing of the pressure-receiving member by abutting against the upper linking wire when the amount of flexing exceeds a predetermined amount. This enables the amount of flexing of the pressure-receiving member for supporting the back of the occupant to be restricted, thereby stabilizing the support of the occupant.

In the vehicle seat device, a locking claw bent forward is provided in an upper end portion of the inner board, and a stopper member configured to suppress frontward and downward movement of the locking claw by engaging with the locking claw is provided in a frame of the seat back. Such vehicle seat device is capable of restricting excessive forward movement and deformation of the inner board.

The present invention provides a vehicle seat including: a seatback frame that includes a pair of an outer side frame portion and an inner side frame portion and a lower frame portion; a tilting shaft that supports the seatback frame at a position below the lower frame portion; and a first load transfer block that transfers an impact load input from a side portion of the vehicle body to the seatback frame, wherein the vehicle seat further includes a plate-shaped rigid member of which an upper end is connected to the lower frame portion and an inner end in the vehicle width direction is connected to the inner side frame portion in the vehicle width direction, and wherein a lower edge of the plate-shaped rigid member extends to at least a height position of the tilting shaft.

A seat back frame for the vehicle seat, includes a pair of side frames that are disposed on both sides in a seat width direction; and a supporting plate that has both ends connected to a bottom section of each of the side frames, wherein the supporting plate is at least disposed along an interval between a first height that corresponds to an upper part of a lumbar vertebra of an occupant seated in the seat and a second height that corresponds to a lower part of the lumbar vertebra, and curves in a manner such that, in a cross-section along with a vertical direction, the supporting plate bulges forward along a line from the first height to the second height.
