A carrier bar is provided, capable of enabling suitable assembly work of the stay and improving freedom in adjustment of stay assembly position relative to carrier bar, disclosed is a carrier bar having shell formed along longitudinal direction and hollow zones in cross-sectional structure so as to be assembled to stay by using a clamp mechanism having a head and a constricted portion to form a base carrier. Shell has assembly and positioning openings extending toward the longitudinal end of shell by using assembly opening as a basal end and having a terminated end formed by longitudinal end of shell. Assembly opening has an opening width and an opening length into which the head of clamp mechanism is insertable. Positioning opening has an opening width narrower than that of assembly opening, along which the constricted portion is slidable, and an opening length longer than that of assembly opening.

A gamma correction device for a liquid crystal display device including LCD panels. The gamma correction device includes a storage device for storing gamma correction data corresponding to chiral directions of LCD panels. A chiral direction data acquisition circuit acquires chirality data on the chiral direction of a LCD panel arranged in the liquid crystal display device. A control circuit sets a gamma correction datum adapted to the chiral directions of the LCD panel arranged in the liquid crystal display device selectively from the stored gamma correction data based on the acquired chirality data. A gamma correction circuit performs a gamma correction process on image signals provided to the LCD panel using the set gamma correction datum.

Liquid crystal projector

A liquid crystal projector provided with a cooling fan comprises a temperature sensor for detecting the internal temperature of the liquid crystal projector, an air pressure sensor for detecting outside air pressure, and a control device for controlling the number of revolutions of the cooling fan on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor and the outside air pressure detected by the air pressure sensor.

A shutter device can switch between a state where illuminating light from a lamp of an illuminating device is blocked (referred to as a closing state of the shutter device) and a state where illuminating light passes through (referred to as an opening state of the shutter device). A system control circuit instructs a panel cooling fan-use power source to decrease a fan rotation speed, when receiving information indicating that the shutter device is in the closing state from the detecting portion. After receiving this instruction, the panel fan power source decreases power supplied to the panel cooling fan (fan motor).

Projection type video display

A shutter device can switch between a state where illuminating light from a lamp of an illuminating device is cut off (referred to as a closing state of the shutter device) and a state where illuminating light passes through (referred to as an opening state of the shutter device). A system control circuit instructs a lamp power source to decrease power supplied to the lamp, when receiving information indicating that the shutter device is in the closing state from the detecting portion. After receiving this instruction, the lamp power source decreases the power supplied to the lamp.

An ultrasonic probe includes ultrasonic piezoelectric elements that are arranged in a first direction at predetermined intervals and transmit and receive ultrasonic waves in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction. The respective ultrasonic piezoelectric elements have plural grooves, which are parallel to the first direction and do not pierce through an end face, on at least one end face of two end faces substantially orthogonal to the second direction of the respective ultrasonic piezoelectric elements. The ultrasonic waves are weighted in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction according to shapes and arrangement of the respective plural grooves and transmitted and received. In addition, a conductive member is joined to the end face having the grooves of the respective ultrasonic piezoelectric elements along the third direction.

A Gray code counter includes a holding circuit, first and second conversin circuit and an operation circuit. The holding circuit stores gray code signals and outputs the stored gray code signals in response to a clock signal. A unit for handling the remainder of optical cables includes a cable supporting section and a connector for interface arranged at a central section of the cable supporting section.
