A setup change work support method includes a feeder information acquisition step, a production information acquisition step, and a target feeder determination step. The feeder information acquisition step acquires information on the capability of a feeder that can be disposed in a component supply unit of an electronic component mounting device for mounting an electronic component on a workpiece and that supplies the electronic component. The production information acquisition step acquires information on the production of the workpiece. The target feeder determination step determines a target feeder that is disposed in the component supply unit and is used to produce a target type based on information on the capability of the feeder and information on the production of the workpiece.

Feeder setup change method and component mounting device for supporting feeder setup change method

A management apparatus manages works to supply components to component mounting devices in a component mounting line. The management apparatus includes a component remaining number information acquisition portion that acquires, from each of the component mounting devices, a remaining number of components stored in the component mounting device, a worker information storage portion that stores worker information including a working range of each of workers in the component mounting line, a work sequence decision portion that generates work sequence information indicating a work sequence of component supply works for each of the workers based on the worker information and component remaining number information about a plurality of components within a predetermined period of time, and an information transmission portion that transmits the work sequence information to the workers who should perform the works.

An electronic component mounting method is performed by an electronic component mounting system including a component mounting line formed by interconnecting component mounting units which concurrently performs component mounting work on two kinds of boards different in mounting workload. The component mounting units includes: first and second board conveyance mechanisms; a component mounting unit; a board distribution unit which receives the board from the upstream-side apparatus and distributes the received board to either the first board conveyance mechanism or the second board conveyance mechanism; and a distribution control unit which controls the first board conveyance mechanism, the second board conveyance mechanism and the board distribution unit. The electronic component mounting method comprises mixedly distributing the two kinds of the boards to each of the first and second board conveyance mechanisms based on a board request signal issued from a most-upstream component mounting unit in the component mounting line.
