Inspection device and inspection method for inspecting connected parts of a plurality of pins to a wiring board to detect a short circuit failure

An electronic key registration system includes a controller of a communication subject, an initial electronic key that communicates with the communication subject and has an initial encryption key generation code, an additional electronic key that communicates with the communication subject, and an information center including an additional encryption key. The initial electronic key holds an initial encryption key generated from the initial encryption key generation code and a logic. The controller holds the logic and identification information of the communication subject. The controller acquires the initial encryption key generation code from the initial electronic key, generates an initial encryption key from the initial encryption key generation code and the logic held by the controller, and stores the initial encryption key. The information center sends the additional encryption key to the additional electronic key or the controller through a network.

Electronic key registration system

An offline immobilizer ECU reads an encryption key generation code from an offline additional electronic key and generates an electronic key encryption key for the offline additional electronic key using the encryption key generation code and a communication subject key encryption key held by the immobilizer ECU. The immobilizer ECU stores, in a memory, the generated electronic key encryption key and a key ID code that is read from the offline additional electronic key.

An immobilizer ECU transmits a vehicle ID code and a SEED code, which is read from an electronic key, to a data center online. The data center generates an encryption key from the received SEED code and a first logic, and generates a further SEED code from the encryption key, the vehicle ID code, and a second logic. The immobilizer ECU obtains the further SEED code online from the data center, generates the encryption key from the obtained further SEED code, the vehicle ID code, and the second logic, and stores the encryption key.

An electric steering wheel lock device includes a control circuit that starts and stops supplying power to a motor that actuates a lock mechanism to lock and unlock a movable member of a vehicle steering mechanism. The control circuit changes contact states of first and second relays to switch a supplying direction of the power. A drive restriction unit stops and starts supplying power to a drive circuit for the motor. The control circuit changes contact states of the first and second relays when the drive restriction unit stops supplying power to the drive circuit.

Electric steering wheel lock device

A vehicle security device for improving the security level of a vehicle. The vehicle security device is connected to an engine and communicates with a portable device. A smart ECU performs a first coded communication to establish mutual authentication with the portable device. An ID code box is connected to the smart ECU, has a first code and a second code, and does not communicate with the portable device. The ID code box performs a second coded communication using the first code to establish a second mutual authentication with the smart ECU. An engine ECU performs a third coded communication using the second code to establish a third mutual authentication with the ID code box. The engine ECU enables the engine to be started when every one of the first, second, and third mutual authentications are established.

Vehicle security device and ID code management device

A start control apparatus has a steering lock mechanism, which includes a lock pin and a lock control unit. The lock pin is selectively engaged and disengaged from the steering shaft. The lock control unit controls the lock pin. The start control apparatus further includes a portable communication device, a verification control unit, which communicates with the portable communication device, a power source control unit, which control power supply, an engine control unit, which controls the engine, a lock state detecting switch, which detects an engaged state and a disengaged state of the lock pin. The lock control unit and the power source control unit monitor detection signals from the lock state detecting switch. The engine is permitted to be started on condition that the control units acknowledge that the lock bar is in the disengaged state.

Start control apparatus

An engine start/stop control system for preventing an engine from stopping when a vehicle is traveling. The system includes an IGdriver circuit arranged between a power supply control unit and an IGrelay. The IG1 driver circuit is activated in accordance with an activation signal from the power supply control unit or an output signal of a latch circuit and includes an FET for activating a relay. The latch circuit keeps the FET ON and the relay activated unless the vehicle stops traveling and a start/stop switch is pushed.
