A stepping motor may include a rotor having a drive magnet and a stator having a drive coil wound in a tube shape and disposed on the drive magnet. The stator may include a first yoke, a second yoke, a plurality of first pole teeth, and a plurality of second pole teeth. The plurality of the first and second pole teeth may be alternately disposed in a circumferential direction of the rotor.

A motor may include a stator provided with a yoke having a plurality of pole teeth and an exciting coil and a rotor disposed in a circular space surrounded by the pole teeth. A portion where a difference between an inner side area of the pole tooth facing the rotor and an outer side area of the pole tooth facing the exciting coil is larger than a difference between the inner side area and the outer side area of the pole tooth where both circumferential direction faces of the pole tooth are formed in faces coincided with normal lines may be provided on a root part of the pole tooth. Further, circumferential direction faces of at least a root part of the pole tooth are formed so as to face the rotor in an inclined manner.

Motor

A stepping motor may include a rotor having a drive magnet and a stator having a drive coil wound in a tube shape and disposed on the drive magnet. The stator may include a first yoke, a second yoke, a plurality of first pole teeth provided in the first yoke, and a plurality of second pole teeth provided in the second yoke. The plurality of the first pole teeth and the second pole teeth may be alternately disposed in a circumferential direction of the rotor.

Stepping motor

A motor may include a bearing for supporting a rotation shaft, a bearing holder which is formed with a bearing holding hole on which the bearing is mounted, and a spring member which is mounted on an outer end face of the bearing holder for urging the bearing toward the rotation shaft. The spring member includes a plurality of hook parts which engages with an inner end face of the bearing holder through an outer peripheral side of the bearing holder, and a portion of the inner end face of the bearing holder is formed with a recessed engaging part with which the plurality of the hook parts is engaged. The recessed engaging part includes a cut-out part which reaches to an aperture edge of the bearing holding hole.

Stator

A floppy disc drive apparatus includes a spindle motor, a magnetic head, a drive mechanism, a mechanism controller, a floppy disc controller, and a universal serial bus interface. The spindle motor rotatably drives a floppy disc at a rotational speed of 600 rpm or more. The magnetic head reads and records data on the floppy disc. The drive mechanism has an actuator that scans the magnetic head in a radial direction of the floppy disc. The mechanism controller controls the drive mechanism to thereby reproduce and record specified data on the floppy disc. The floppy disc controller transfers and receives data to and from the mechanism controller at a transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s or greater. The universal serial bus interface allows the floppy disc controller to transfer and receive data to and from an external apparatus at a transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s or greater.

Floppy disc drive apparatus

A floppy disk rotating drive mechanism having a metal drive pin configured to withstand high speeds and to prevent damage to a disk by the pin when the disk is chucked. The drive mechanism has a rotation center shaft to engage the center hole in the floppy disk, a rotating unit that rotates with the rotation center shaft, a chucking lever pivotally supported on one end by the rotating unit and provided with the drive pin on the other end. The disk is rotated when the drive pin engages the drive pin engaging hole in the disk positioned eccentrically from the center hole. The drive pin is made of stainless steel and has an inclined upper surface that is higher on an outside portion farther away from the rotating shaft than on an inside portion nearer the rotating shaft. The outer portion of upper surface of the drive pin is also provided with a chamfered section. A front portion of the drive pin in the leading direction of the rotation has curved surface and a back portion of the drive pin has a flat surface.
