Fixed-length track marks are arranged at equal physical length intervals along the information track formed in the state of a spiral. The track position information is obtained by detecting the track marks of the present and adjacent tracks. The CLV optical disc medium recording/reproducing apparatus can perform the seeking operation by use of the CPU and the other relevant units regardless of the operation of controlling the disc revolution number. In the CLV optical disc master board exposure, the CLV drive ordering pulse creating method can be realized by the spindle rotation ordering pulse train and the slider movement ordering pulse train.

A CLV (Constant Linear Velocity) optical disc which can record the information with a constant linear velocity, wherein plural lines of specified tracks exist in a predetermined data area, a railroad length of the specified tracks is integer multiple of the length of a sector, the length of the sector on the specified tracks is 2&times;&pgr;&times;N times a track pitch, the number N being a positive integral number, and head positions of the specified tracks are lined up on a predetermined radius line A-A&prime; at equal track intervals. The tracks including a head sector on the predetermined data area are the specified tracks. In such structure, calculation of the conversion between the information number and the number of the tracks can be simple, the unevenness of the disc format manufactured by use of different optical disc master board (plate) can be eliminated, and high-speed accessing operations can be performed.

Constant linear velocity (CLV) optical disc

The present invention provides an exposure apparatus of an optical disc master plate for exposing a photoresist master plate and writing-in a DVD-R format, and a method of exposing an optical disc master plate. Apparatus for exposing optical disc master plate and method of exposing the same

The present invention provides an exposure apparatus of an optical disc master plate for exposing a photoresist master plate and writing-in a DVD-R format, and a method of exposing an optical disc master plate. In a device for removing toner or similar substance deposited on a recording sheet or similar sheet, projections are formed on a back-up member and located at portions on which the rear of a separating member slide. While a sheet is passed through a pressing portion in contact with the separating member, the projections raise the rear of the separating member toward the surface of the sheet carrying the toner. Hence, even solitary particles of the substance adjoining relatively thick and large masses of the substance can contact the front of the separating member. Hence, the solitary particles are prevented from remaining on the sheet.

Device for removing a substance deposited on a sheet

In a method and an apparatus for removing an image forming substance such as toner from an image holding member such as a transfer paper sheet, the toner on the transfer paper sheet is heated to be melted or softened. An offset belt having adhesive force stronger than that between the transfer paper sheet and the toner comes in contact with the toner. The toner is separated and removed from the transfer paper sheet when the offset belt and the transfer paper sheet are separated from each other. Heating of the toner is maintained until the transfer paper sheet is separated from the offset belt. The transfer paper sheet is separated from the offset belt before the toner is cooled and solidified. A toner heating maintaining device is constructed by using a heating-supporting member having a heater therein and arranged such that the transfer paper sheet and the offset belt are supported between the heating-supporting member and a heating roller. The heating-supporting member has a bent portion on a downstream side in a conveying direction of the transfer paper sheet.

An image forming substance removing apparatus for removing an image forming substance from an image holding member has a separating device for separating the image forming substance from the image holding member by separating a separating member having adhesive force stronger than adhesive force between the image holding member and the image forming substance attached onto this image holding member from the image forming substance on the image holding member after this separating member comes in contact with the image forming substance on the image holding member; and a cleaner for cleaning the separating member by removing the image forming substance attached onto the separating member therefrom. The cleaner has a cleaning member formed in a roller shape and having an edge-shaped member which comes in contact with a surface of the separating member and is formed in an outer circumferential portion of the cleaning member; and a driving device for rotating the cleaning member such that the image forming substance on the separating member comes in contact with the edge-shaped member of the cleaning member at least one time.

Apparatus for removing image forming substance from image holding member

An apparatus capable of surely removing a toner or similar image forming substance stably cohered to a sheet, and an apparatus for processing a sheet are disclosed. A liquid supply unit uniformly supplies a liquid to a toner carried on the sheet. The sheet infiltrated with the liquid is heated by a toner removing unit to have to the toner thereof softened. As a result, the toner adheres to the surface of an offset member implemented as a belt or a drum. The sheet containing the liquid therein is conveyed to the toner removing unit without creasing, breaking or folding.
