An electrophotographic image forming system having a form cassette for storing forms, a transfer unit for forming an image, a feeder for feeding the forms to the transfer unit and a fusing device for fusing transferred image of the form. The electrophotographic image forming system provides in a path for feeding the form with unfused colored particles (toner) deposited thereon, a form guide so as to contact the non-printing area of the surface of the form with unfused colored particles (toner) deposited thereon.

Reduction of air resistance which acts on the conventional motor-driven blower is limited because crushed protrusions are formed on the surface of the plate of the impeller of the conventional motor-driven blower, and this air resistance is a significant impediment to an increase of the operating speed of the motor-driven blower. Thus, an impeller is provided which comprises a front plate having a suction opening, a back plate disposed opposite to the front plate, and a plurality of blades disposed between the front plate and the back plate. At least either the front plate or the back plate is formed integrally with the blades.

A controlling apparatus controls a suction performance of a blower motor which is installed into a cleaner main body. The controlling apparatus increases the suction performance when a suction nozzle is operated and decreases the suction performance when the suction nozzle is stopped. In a vacuum cleaner, both static pressure H.sub.data and a variation width .DELTA.H in the static pressure appearing when a suction port is operated are detected from a pressure sensor provided at a rear side of a filter within a main body of the vacuum cleaner; a current variation width .DELTA.pbi appearing when the suction port is operated is detected from a current of a nozzel motor for driving a rotary brush stored in a power brush suction port; an air quantity at the suction port is calculated from the current, rotational speed of a fan motor and static pressure; command values are newly obtained by performing a fuzzy calculation with the variation width .DELTA.pbi, static-pressure command value Hcmd; the variation width .DELTA.H and the static-pressure command value Qcmd; the variation width .DELTA.pbi and static-pressure command value Hcmd; and also the variation width .DELTA.H and static-pressure command value Qcmd as the input thereto; the rotational speeds of the fan motor and nozzel motor are controlled from the result of the command values; and further optimum air suction force is automatically obtained, depending upon the suction port under use and cleaning floor plane.

An output of a electric driven blower in a cleaner main body is controlled in response to a detection value of a pressure sensor which detects an operation condition in the cleaner main body. A change-over level setting value is provided as a control value for the sensor so as to form a judgment point for changing over a control condition of the blower. A return level setting value is provided as a control value for the sensor so as to form a judgment point for returning to a previous control condition of the blower from a changed-over condition of the blower. When the detection value of the sensor is more than the change-over level setting value, the return level setting value is set higher than the change-over setting value, thereby the output of the blower is increased, or the return level setting value is set a lower than the change-over level setting value, thereby the output of the blower is decreased.

A vacuum cleaner with panel portion structure which includes an improved panel main body and a blower facility valve body. The panel main body has an exhaust air port and an opening for a blower facility. The blower facility valve body is provided at a lower side of the panel main body and is rotatably supported so as to normally shut the blower facility opening. A first exhaust air passage is formed between the intermediate exhaust air port to the main body exhaust air port. A second exhaust air passage is formed between the intermediate exhaust air port to the blower facility opening. The first exhaust air passage and the second exhaust air passage are changed over by the blower facility valve body. The improved blower facility structure permits the development of a series of vacuum cleaners with and without a blower facility.
