Whether an internal defect is present in an inspection target is readily judged. Provided is an inspection method for an inspection target that is a layered structure including an FRP material and/or a structure made of resin, the method including the steps of: tapping, with a tapping tool, an inspection target area on a surface of the inspection target; detecting, by an accelerometer mounted to the tapping tool, an acceleration signal corresponding to acceleration of the tapping tool due to reaction force against the tapping; recording waveform data about the detected acceleration signal; creating a contour map corresponding to the inspection target area, based on the recorded waveform data; displaying the contour map on a display unit; and judging whether an internal defect is present in the inspection target, based on the contour map displayed on the display unit.

Disclosed is a lubricant sealing structure for a gear coupling, which can firmly prevent the leaking of the lubricant due to vibration or the like in the axial and radial directions inside the gear coupling. A sealing member is a cloth-inserted rubberhaving flexibility. The cloth-inserted rubberhas a first end being fixed to a fixing memberon a cover platemounted on a side of an outer ringand a second end being fixed to another fixing memberon a side of the drive shaftin liquid tight manner in the axial direction of a drive shaft. Each of the first and second ends of the cloth-inserted rubberhas a face extending in a direction that is perpendicular to the axial direction. The cloth-inserted rubberseals the lubricant at the face of said each of the first and second ends.

A slewing bearing includes: an outer ring section having first and second circumferential grooves formed on an inner circumferential surface in parallel; an inner ring section formed on an inner side of the outer ring section and having first and second circumferential grooves formed on an outer circumferential surface in parallel in correspondence to the first and second circumferential grooves of the outer ring section; a first row of rolling elements provided in the first circumferential groove of the outer ring section and the first circumferential groove of the inner ring section; and a second row of rolling element provided in the second circumferential groove of the outer ring section and the second circumferential groove of the inner ring section. The inner ring section rotates via the first and second rolling element rows around a rotation axis in a relatively opposite direction to the outer ring section.

A wind turbine which varies an active annular plane area by composing such that blades are attached to a cylindrical rotor movable in the radial direction of the rotor, the blades being reciprocated in the radial direction by means of a blade shifting mechanism connected to the root of each blade, or the blade itself is divided so that the outer one of the divided blade is movable in the radial direction. With the construction, the wind turbine can be operated with a maximum output within the range of evading fatigue failure of the blades and rotor by adjusting the active annular plane area in accordance with wind speed.

Power generating wind turbine

A wind turbine generator including a nacelle having reduced size and weight is provided. The wind turbine generator includes a nacelle disposed on a tower. The nacelle includes a main shaft that is connected to a rotor head equipped with blades and that integrally rotates with the rotor head, a gearbox that increases the rotational speed of the main shaft and that outputs the resulting rotational speed, and a generator driven by the output from the gearbox. In the wind turbine generator, a drivetrain extending from the main shaft to the generator via the gearbox is disposed in the rotor head.
