A laser irradiating body with a laser inlet and a laser outlet is provided, and plural semiconductor lasers to oscillate plural linear laser beams for measuring a welding state are provided. Then, a CCD camera with a band-pass filter therein to pass through only the reflected linear laser beams is provided. The CCD camera takes, as an image, the measured welding state by the reflected linear laser beams in. Moreover, an image processor to process the image of the measured welding state is provided.

Laser welding head-controlling system, a laser welding head and a method for controlling a laser welding head

A scattering target constituting an electron spin analyzer is supported by a scattering target-holding member made of a conductive material from the outside of the space formed by an accelerating electrode and an electrode supporter. Then, the scattering target-holding member is supported in insulation by an insulation supporting member made of an insulating material. Moreover, a guiding member is provided so as to cover the periphery of the insulation supporting member for guiding the scattering target, the scattering target-holding member and the insulation supporting member.

Scattering target-holding mechanism and an electron spin analyzer

A coaxial nozzle to blow an inert gas on a part to be welded is provided, and at least one discharging nozzle to blow a compressed shielding gas around the part to be welded so as to cover the inert gas is provided at the outer side of the coaxial nozzle. Then, a laser oscillator to oscillate a laser is provided, and a condenser to converge the laser, and thus, melt the part to be welded through the irradiation of the converged laser is built in. Moreover, an evacuating nozzle to evacuate gases around the melting parts is provided.

Laser welding method and a laser welding apparatus

A hemisphere accelerating electrode has a double structure composed of an inner accelerating electrode and an outer accelerating electrode. The inner accelerating electrode has an inner introducing inlet and an inner opening, and the outer accelerating electrode has an outer introducing inlet and an outer opening. The aperture angle of the inner introducing inlet is preferably larger than that of the outer introducing inlet by 0.1-5 degrees. Then, the aperture angle of the inner opening is preferably larger than that of the outer opening by 0.1-5 degrees. Moreover, scattered electron detectors have correcting electrodes, respectively, and are arranged in the shifted directions from the introducing direction of electrons by 100-140 degrees.

Electron spin analyzer

A laser welding apparatus includes a laser welding head and a laser welding head position-controlling apparatus. The laser welding head includes a laser irradiating body with an inert gas nozzle to blow off an inert gas for welding parts of members to be welded and at least one shielding gas nozzle, at the outside of the inert gas nozzle, to blow off a shielding gas for the surrounding area of the welding parts, and plural semiconductor lasers to oscillate plural linear laser beams for measuring the welding state of the members to be welded. The laser welding head position-controlling apparatus includes an imaging apparatus with a band-pass filter therein to pass through only the reflected linear laser beams to take in, as an image, the measured welding state by the reflected linear laser beams, and an image processor to process the image of the measured welding state.
