An electric vehicle control device includes a first inverter controlling a first group defined by induction motors, and a second inverter controlling a second group defined by induction motors. The first inverter and the induction motors of the first group are connected to each other by a first conductor. The second inverter and the induction motors of the second group are connected by a second conductor. A first length is equal to or less than three times the average value of a second length and a third length. The first length is an inter-center distance between the first conductor and the second conductor, the second length is the maximum length of a conductor portion of the first conductor in the cross section of the first conductor, and the third length is the maximum length of a conductor portion of the second conductor in the cross section of the second conductor.

Electric vehicle control device

A monitoring device for an electric vehicle to monitor a blower for cooling a device installed in an electric vehicle includes: a dq-component separation unit that separates an instantaneous value of a motor current that flows to a motor of the blower into a d-axis current component and a q-axis current component; a mechanical-angle rotation-frequency component extraction unit that extracts a mechanical-angle rotation frequency component from an instantaneous value of the q-axis current component, the mechanical-angle rotation frequency component being a rotation frequency component where a rotation angle of the motor is expressed in a mechanical angle; and an abnormality determination unit that determines whether or not the blower is abnormal on the basis of magnitude of the mechanical-angle rotation frequency component.

Monitoring device for electric vehicles

A rotary machine control device includes a current detector to detect a rotary machine current flowing through a rotary machine, a position estimator to estimate a rotor position, a controller to output a rotary machine voltage instruction for driving the rotary machine on the basis of the rotary machine current and the rotor position, and a voltage applicator to apply a voltage to the rotary machine on the basis of the rotary machine voltage instruction. The position estimator estimates the rotor position from a flux linkage inductance variable component produced by an inductance variable component and the rotary machine current.

A control device for an AC rotating machine includes: a current detection unit; a command generation unit for generating a voltage command, using a moment of inertia J; a speed estimation unit for calculating an estimated speed &#x3c9;0 on the basis of the voltage command and detected current; an output torque computing unit for calculating output torque on the basis of the detected current; and an inertia moment computing unit for calculating the moment of inertia J. The output torque computing unit gives a delay characteristic corresponding to an estimation delay of the estimated speed &#x3c9;0, to the output torque, and the inertia moment computing unit calculates the moment of inertia J on the basis of the estimated speed &#x3c9;0 and the output torque having the delay characteristic.

Control device for AC rotating machine

A power converter includes a control unit that generates a modulated wave synchronized with an output voltage command and a carrier wave having a frequency higher than a frequency of the modulated wave, the control unit controlling the power converter by comparing the modulated wave and the carrier wave to output a switching signal for driving a switching element. When a modulation factor in converting DC power into AC power is equal to or higher than a mode switching modulation factor and is lower than &#x3c0;/4, the power converter converts the DC power into the AC power in an over-modulation mode, in which switching of the switching element is stopped for a period longer than one cycle of the carrier wave, in a first period in which an output voltage command is positive and timing of a positive peak value of the output voltage command is included.

A hybrid-vehicle power generator control apparatus includes an integrated control unit that issues a driving command and a control command to an engine control unit and an electric-power conversion system control unit, respectively, based on requested electric power requested by a load apparatus, and a limiter that limits the control command from the integrated control unit such that when rotation frequency of an electric power generator is same as or lower than a predetermined value, the value of torque generated by the electric power generator becomes smaller than the value of torque generated by an engine. A limitation of the control command by the limiter prevents torques of the engine and the electric power generator from stepping out of the stable operating points.

Hybrid vehicle power generation control apparatus

A control device includes a gate-signal generating unit that outputs a gate signal to an inverter circuit and a voltage-vector generating unit that generates a voltage command to the gate-signal generating unit on the basis of a torque command PTR from an upper unit, rotating speed FM of an alternating-current electric motor, and a direct-current voltage value EFC applied to the inverter circuit. The voltage-vector generating unit calculates, on basis of a modulation rate, which is a ratio of the direct-current voltage value EFC and a voltage amplitude command in the voltage command, a PWM current distortion rate serving as an index representing a degree of a current harmonic caused by PWM control, generates the voltage amplitude command value on the basis of the calculated PWM current distortion rate, and outputs the voltage amplitude command value to the gate-signal generating unit.

To generate a PWM signal, as an on/off signal of a semiconductor switch that constitutes a power conversion main circuit, by comparing a modulation wave command based on an input voltage waveform command of the power conversion main circuit with a carrier wave having changes from a lower limit to an upper limit and from the upper limit to the lower limit for an integral number of times per one cycle of an AC power supply, where the carrier wave has characteristics such that one change time from the lower limit to the upper limit and then returning to the lower limit is constant, and a time ratio between a change time from the lower limit to the upper limit and a change time from the upper limit to the lower limit changes periodically.

Power conversion device and AC electric-vehicle drive system

A hybrid drive system includes first and second power supply devices that supply direct-current power; first and second power storage devices are respectively connected to the first and second power supply devices so as to accumulate or discharge the direct-current power; a first load device that receives a supply of the direct-current power from the first power supply device and the first power storage device and drives a first load; and a second load device that receives a supply of the direct-current power from the second power supply device and the second power storage device and drives a second load. The hybrid drive system includes an inter-group contactor for electrically connecting and disconnecting input terminals of the first power storage device and the second power storage device.

An estimation unit estimates a q-axis induced-voltage estimation value and estimation torque of a PM motor. An adder adds a torque command and a first command together. The first command is calculated at a first command generation unit based on the estimation torque. A further adder adds a q-axis voltage command and a second command together. The second command is calculated at a second command generation unit based on the q-axis induced-voltage estimation value. The first and second command generation units compensate a control delay in a current control system including a current control unit and an estimation delay in the estimation unit for the estimation torque and an estimation induced voltage of the PM motor, and thereby a lack of the q-axis voltage command in a high frequency range is compensated, reducing a torque ripple effectively over a wide range of speed up to a high speed range.

A DC/DC conversion device that includes three-level power conversion circuits in a plurality of phases. The DC/DC conversion device includes voltage detectorsandthat detect at least two voltages (Efc and EfcL) of an input DC voltage, a first divided voltage, and a second divided voltage; and a voltage control unitthat controls an output voltage of three-level power conversion circuitsand. At least one phase (the power conversion circuit) of the three-level power conversion circuitsandoperates as an imbalance-reduction phase that executes imbalance-reduction control such that one (EfcL) of the first and second divided voltages is divided into half of the input DC voltage Efc.

DC/DC conversion device and load-drive control system

To reduce radiation noise generated when a semiconductor device in a power unit performs switching, a core is provided outside the power unit. The closer the core is disposed to the semiconductor device that is generating the radiation noise, the greater the effect of reducing the radiation noise is obtained. However, since there has been no space to provide the core inside the power unit, there has been a limitation in the reduction of radiation noise. The invention provides a power unit including a core in the interior thereof. In order to install a first core inside the power unit, a first output-side conductor bar, a second output-side conductor bar, and a third output-side conductor bar are connected to an output of an inverter include a first bundle portion. The first bundle portion passes through a first penetrating opening of the first core provided inside the power unit.

A motor control device includes an electric power converter for generating three-phase voltages based on voltage instruction-values, and for supplying them to a motor; an induced-voltage estimation unit for estimating an induced voltage of the motor, based on the voltage instruction-values and electric current feedback values; a dead-time disturbance-voltage compensation unit; and a dead-time disturbance compensation-voltage modification unit for compensating a dead-time disturbance voltage(s) generated in the electric power converter, based on a fundamental wave component of an estimated induced voltage.

Motor control device

A resistance calculation activator determines whether or not an electric car is stopped on the basis of a drive command signal and an external signal, and activates a resistance calculator if a powering command is input as the drive command when it is determined that the electric car is stopped. The activated resistance calculator computes, within a resistance calculation period, a resistance value of an AC motor that produces driving force for the electric car, on the basis of a d-axis voltage command value and a d-axis current value supplied to the AC motor.

In a host controller included in a vehicle control apparatus, a generator-torque-command generating unit monitors an abnormal operation of the engine on the basis of an engine power generation command and a detection signal of a rotating speed detector, switches, when the abnormal operation of the engine is detected, a generator torque command to the lowest value of a torque command value for abnormal time set in advance as the generator torque command, thereafter, gradually increases the generator torque command, and, after recording, as a torque limit value, the magnitude of the generator torque command (a torque command value for abnormal time 3) at the time when the abnormal operation of the engine is detected again, switches the generator torque command to a torque command value for abnormal time (a torque command value for abnormal time 2) having a value smaller than the torque limit value.
