An electronic balance includes a weighing pan, a windshield, door opening and closing mechanisms configured to automatically open and close doors of the windshield, a weight sensor, a built-in weight, a weight applying and removing mechanism for the built-in weight, and a control unit, the control unit obtains a first standard deviation measured while the doors of the windshield are left closed, and a second standard deviation measured accompanied by a series of opening and closing operations consisting of opening the door by the door opening and closing mechanism, loading the built-in weight by the weight applying and removing mechanism, closing the door by the door opening and closing mechanism, acquiring weighing data of the built-in weight, opening the door by the door opening and closing mechanism, unloading the built-in weight by the weight applying and removing mechanism, and closing the door by the opening and closing mechanism.

Method for judging environment of balance, and apparatus for the same

The windshield includes an outer windshield defining a weighing chamber, and an inner windshield disposed inside the outer windshield and covering the weighing pan, the outer windshield includes a pair of left and right sliding doors openable and closable in side surfaces, and the inner windshield is provided with an opening in a surface facing one of the sliding doors, and a shielding wall is provided at a lower portion of the opening. An air flow generated when the sliding door of the outer windshield is opened or closed moves along a floor surface of the outer windshield toward the weighing pan, but is blocked by the shielding wall and does not flow into the inside of the inner windshield.

Windshield for balance

A windshield for a balance is provided, and the windshield to be attached to a balance to define a weighing chamber, includes openable and closable doors constituting portions of the weighing chamber, opening and closing mechanisms configured to open and close the doors, sensors configured to detect movement of the doors, and a control unit configured to command the opening and closing mechanism to open and close the door when a movement of the door from a stationary state is detected by the sensors. When an operator slightly moves the door from a stationary state to open or close the door, the sensor detects this, and the door is automatically opened or closed.

Windshield for defining a weighing chamber of a balance

Provided is a windshield for a balance, for which opening and closing doors of the windshield are smoothly moved without wobbling, dust or the like is unlikely to accumulate on the part of guide rails that guide the opening and closing doors, and cleaning is easy. Upper portions of the pair of opening and closing doors of the windshield are respectively suspended by upper frames provided along respective side portions of an upper surface door, and the opening and closing doors are reciprocated by air cylinders by being guided by guide rails each formed of a horizontal portion and a vertical portion. On the respective horizontal portions, projections that restrict lower ends of the respective opening and closing doors from being displaced in separating directions from the vertical portions are provided along movement paths of the respective opening and closing doors.

A windshield for a balance which has a door that can be automatically opened and closed or half opened and half closed is provided. The windshield includes doors to which air cylinders are joined as driving means, sensors for monitoring movements of the doors, pressure sensors configured to monitor a pressure of air to be supplied to the air cylinders of the driving means, and a control unit configured to stop an air supply to the air cylinders when a pressure of air monitored by the pressure sensor exceeds a predetermined value. Stoppers are disposed on movement paths of the doors to block movement, and when air pressure inside the air cylinder increases to the predetermined value due to contact with the stopper, the door stops. The door can be freely fully opened and half-opened according to the position of the stopper.

A windshield for an electronic balance is provided which includes air cylinders incorporated inside as driving mechanisms, doors supported by a hanging manner by guide holes at least one end portion of which is open, and joint members interposed between the air cylinders and the doors. The joint members are also supported in a hanging manner in the guide holes, and upper portions of the joint members are joined to the air cylinders incorporated inside. The doors can be automatically opened and closed, and can be easily joined to and released from the driving mechanisms, and easily detached from the windshield by a simple structure.

Provided is an electronic balance with a windshield including a balance main body including a weighing mechanism connected to a weighing pan, a windshield having doors capable of opening and closing by sliding, and configured to form a weighing chamber by covering the weighing pan, and actuators configured to open and close the doors, wherein the actuator includes a double-acting type air cylinder having two ports serving as air intake ports, an air pump-to be connected to the two ports, two valves respectively interposed between the air pump and the two ports and configured to make the ports communicate with and shut off from the atmosphere, and a control device configured to control the two valves-to make the two ports communicate with the atmosphere when the air pump is stopped. Without a special mechanism, switching between automatic opening and closing and manual opening and closing can be made, and in either automatic or manual opening and closing, the doors of the windshield are smoothly opened and closed.

Electronic balance

The present invention relates to an electronic balance with a windshield having a door to be automatically smoothly opened and closed. Provided is an electronic balance including a balance main body including a weighing mechanism connected to a weighing pan, a windshield configured to form a weighing chamber by covering the weighing pan, slidable doors provided in the windshield and constituting portions of the weighing chamber, holders configured to support the doors from upper portions in a hanging manner, guide members configured to engage with the holders and slidably support the holders, and air cylinders connected to the holders and configured to slide the door through the holders. The holders supporting the doors in a hanging manner are directly moved by the air cylinders, so that the doors can be smoothly opened and closed.

Provided is an electronic balance that includes a windshield having a door to be automatically opened and closed, and has a high degree of freedom of design. An electronic balance including a balance main body that holds a weighing mechanism connected to a weighing pan, and a windshield including a frame and doors disposed slidably on the frame, and configured to form a weighing chamber by covering the weighing pan, and configured so that the windshield includes inside air cylinders connected to the doors to open and close the doors, and air pumps to drive the air cylinders, and is configured to be detachable from the balance main body. The windshield that has doors to be automatically opened and closed is detachable from the balance main body, so that the windshield and the balance main body can be designed separately, and therefore, the degree of freedom of design of the electronic balance is high.

Operability, accuracy, and safety when fitting a glass-made pipette tip to a pipette are improved. A pipette tip fitting adapter includes a hollow body having one end portion configured to serve as a tip inserting portion into which a pipette tip is inserted, and the other end portion configured to serve as a pipette inserting portion into which a pipette is inserted, and at an opening side of an inner circumferential surface of the tip inserting portion, seal portions projecting inward are formed in a circumferential direction. Accordingly, a pipette tip that is long and heavy like a glass tip can be held.

Multichannel pipette

A weighing device is provided that suppresses air convection currents generated in a weighing chamber in the opening/closing of a door of the chamber with a relatively simple configuration. A weighing space is partitioned into two spaces with a partition plate to form a lower small-capacity weighing chamber, which enables to settle down the convection in a short time if convection is generated in the chamber. Suspended walls adjacent to the doors are attached to the partition plate edge sides along the door opening/closing directions. Even when a door is opened, warm air stagnant in the upper space in the chamber is restricted or blocked to flow out to the outside by the suspended walls, which generates no convection or slight convection, which settles down in a short time, without adverse effect on a weighing operation. The upper space may be utilized for another purpose such as a neutralization chamber.

The effect of air flow on a weighing dish is minimized by the following relatively simple arrangement. A mounting member () having a protection dike (D), an engaging ridge (B), and a outermost peripheral engaging wall (A) formed in a concentric manner about an opening (C) to insert therethrough a connecting portion (A) is disposed on an upper casing () of a weighing device located on a lower surface of a weighing dish (). First and second windproof walls () are positioned by fitting to an inner peripheral wall of the engaging ridgeB and the engaging wall (A), respectively, and can be easily removed when necessary, such as for cleaning. For example, the second windproof wall () is formed higher than the first windproof wall (), thereby enabling effective obstruction of air flow from the outside.
