A game mat according to an aspect of the present technology is a mat including: a mobile terminal antenna that receives a radio wave output by a reader/writer of a mobile terminal that communicates with a server that manages a game using an IC card; an IC card antenna that communicates with the IC card including an IC chip for an IC card in which reading/writing of data is performed contactlessly by a command transmitted from the reader/writer; a memory that stores a mat ID, which is identification information of a mat; and an internal IC chip that receives a command transmitted from the reader/writer and stores, into the memory in association with the mat ID, information regarding the game transmitted from the server. The present technology can be applied to a play mat of a card game using a smartphone having an NFC function and an IC card.

An information processing apparatus is provided. The information processing apparatus includes an electronic money unit including a processor, a memory configured to store a balance of electronic monetary value, a terminal communication unit configured to receive a first command from an electronic money terminal using a terminal antenna, a mobile communication unit including a phone antenna for mobile communication via a base station; an interface unit configured to receive a second command from an electronic money server through an encrypted connection over the mobile communication; wherein the processor is configured to change the balance of electronic monetary value in response to at least one of the first command and the second command.

An object of the present invention is to, in settlement by electronic money, reduce burden on an electronic money server and enhance convenience for users. The function of generating transaction numbers is transferred from the electronic money server to affiliated store servers, so that the transaction numbers are generated by the affiliated store servers. The transaction numbers are each associated with transaction information calculated in accordance with a calculation rule confidential to third parties, such that the electronic money server can detect the presence of alteration of the transaction information based on the transaction number. Furthermore, at the time of generating a transaction number, a seed, which is time-limited secret information confidential to third parties, is inputted to the calculation rule along with the transaction information and used for calculating the transaction number, whereby it is possible to further enhance the level of security.

A mobile terminal device has an information processing unit that processes electronic money information and a storage unit that stores the electronic money information. A receiving unit receives from an electronic money server an electronic money identification (ID), a mobile terminal identification (ID) identifying the mobile terminal device, and a money information processing program for enabling the information processing unit to execute processing of the money information stored in the storage unit. An installation unit installs into the storage unit the money information processing program and the IDs received by the receiving unit. A sending unit sends to the electronic money server information necessary for enabling the electronic money server to provide electronic money service, the necessary information being sent to the electronic server before the receiving unit receives the money information processing and the IDs.
