An image processing apparatus includes an image corrector and an output circuit. The image corrector inputs image data. The image corrector processes the image data input by the image corrector. The image corrector arranges an input image indicated by the image data input by the image corrector on a first plane. The image corrector maps each pixel included in a part or whole of a region of the input image arranged on the first plane onto a curved surface. The image corrector maps each point mapped on the curved surface onto a second plane so as to generate new image data. The output circuit outputs the image data processed by the image corrector.

Image processing apparatus and image capturing apparatus

An imaging apparatus includes a rolling shutter type first image sensor and second image sensor, a timing generator that controls operation timings of these two image sensors, and a controller that subjects generated image data to image processing and controls the timing generator. The first image sensor captures an image of a subject to generate first image data, and the second image sensor captures an image of the subject to generate second image data. Each of the first image data and the second image data has a duplicate region in which the subject is partly duplicated. The controller controls the timing generator in such a way that a period over which the first image sensor exposes lines within the duplicate region in the first image data coincides with a period over which the second image sensor exposes lines within the duplicate region in the second image data.

Imaging apparatus

Disclosed is an image processor that reduces or eliminates the effects of a flash band regardless of performing a shutter operation or not. An imaging device includes a flash band detector configured to determine whether each image of the consecutive images shown by image signals output from an imager is a flash band image a part of which is affected by a flash, and a flash band compensator configured to, if a first image is determined as the flash band image, generate a third image which is supposed where the third image is fully affected by a flash by using a second image which is not determined as the flash band image, and output the third image instead of the first image.

Image processor

In a video signal processor, a difference value calculation section calculates a difference value between video signals at two or more different points of view, which have been input to a video signal input section, at each predetermined timing. A compensation value calculation section holds the difference value between the video signals, which have been obtained at the predetermined timing, at each predetermined time interval. The compensation value calculation section calculates a compensation value with reduced compensation variations along a time axis using the held difference value. A video signal compensation section compensates the video signals using the obtained compensation value. Furthermore, the compensation value calculation section also calculates the compensation value with reduced compensation variations along the time axis based on information at imaging, which has been obtained by an information input section at each predetermined timing.

Video signal processor and method of processing video signal

The present technique includes: an area-characteristic detector configured to calculate a maximum value, an average value, and a minimum value of signal levels of pixels around a certain pixel; a first gain creating part configured to calculate a first calculation value for the certain pixel; a second gain creating part configured to calculate a second calculation value for the certain pixel; and an adjustment part configured; to perform enhancement by multiplying the difference between the average value and the signal level of the certain pixel by the first calculation value when the signal level of the certain pixel is equal to or higher than the average value, and to perform enhancement by multiplying the difference between the average value and the signal level of the certain pixel by the second calculation value when the signal level of the certain pixel is lower than the average value.

Picture processing device

An image production device includes a flash determination section, a frame information adder and an addition controller. The flash determination section is configured to determine whether or not image data included in an image data group are affected by flash. The frame information adder is configured to add frame information used for identifying the image data affected by flash to the image data. The addition controller is configured to control the frame information adder to add the frame information to the image data affected by flash, on the basis of the determination result of the flash determination section.

Image production device, reproduction device, reproduction system, image production method, and reproduction method

A common high frequency component common to signals adjusted based on a local similarity of signal amplitudes thereof before sampling so that folding components therein are cancelled is generated, and the generated common high frequency component is adjusted to a ratio corresponding to the balance of the original signal. The adjusted high frequency component is added to a low frequency component of each signal.
