A pressure valve including a valve seatis mounted on a cap bodyside. The cap bodyand a filler neckare fastened together in an anti-disengagement manner by use of locking means.

Radiator cap with pressure valve

A cap body of a synthetic resin includes a cylindrical portion having an external thread formed on its outer peripheral surface, the cylindrical portion having at its lower end a shoulder or an annular groove for receiving an O-ring. The cylindrical portion has on its inner peripheral surface an annular, internally flanged valve stopper which provides a support for a locking rib of a pressure valve. The pressure valve includes deformation slits formed along the outer periphery of a pot-shaped valve body, and a seal plate disposed on the bottom surface of the valve body.

Pressure cap

A header pipe is prepared by severing an elongated round pipe to a desired length, forming an engagement recess in the inner surfaces at opposite open ends, and forming a multiplicity of flat holes in the peripheral surfaces. A flat tube is inserted into each of the flat holes with fins fixedly secured to the outer surfaces thereof to thereby construct a core End members such as the end portion of a port pipe and an end cover are fitted to the openings of the header pipe by way of an O-ring for sealing, to complete a module-type heat exchanger.
