Disclosed is a covered wire including: a tubular member through which a coolant flows; a conductor provided on an outer circumference of the tubular member; and a covering member covering an outer circumference of the conductor, wherein the tubular member and the covering member are insulating, and the tubular member has a higher resistance to the coolant than the covering member.

There is provided an electric wire holder for holding electric wires connected to terminal fittings at end portions of the wires, the holder configured to attach to a shielding pipe to cover an edge of the shielding pipe into which the electric wires are inserted and from which the terminal fittings and a portion of the electric wires are drawn out to an outside of the shielding pipe, the holder comprising: a first holding piece configured to hold the portion of the electric wires that is drawn out from the shielding pipe and to fix a draw-out position of the terminal fittings.

Terminal box for use with solar cell module

A terminal box () includes terminal plates (), a base plate () for supporting the terminal plates () and an outer plate () surrounding the base plate (). The base plate () has higher heat resistance than the outer plate () and is mounted and fixed to the outer plate (). Terminal box for a solar battery module and a method for producing such a terminal box

A plurality of terminal boards (A,B) for electrically interconnecting a plus electrode and a minus electrode of a solar cell module and cables () for external connection corresponding to the both electrodes are placed on a base plate (), and two corresponding terminal boards (A,B) are bridged by a bypass diode (). The respective terminal boards (A,B) juxtaposed on the top surface of the base plate () are collectively supported and fixed by a retaining plate (). Accordingly, the generation of an undue strain in the bypass diode () can be avoided even in the case of fixing the terminal boards (A,B) to the base plate () with the terminal boards (A,B) bridged by the bypass diode () beforehand.

A terminal box for a solar battery module is provided with terminal plates () connectable with positive and negative electrodes of the solar battery module, cables () for external connection connectable with the terminal plates (), bypass diodes () spanning between the adjacent terminal plates (), and a pair of lead pieces () each connected with a corresponding pair of conductor plates () provided in the bypass diode () and holding a bear chip diode therebetween. The leading ends of horizontal portions () of the lead pieces () are detachably connected with the corresponding terminal plates () by bolts ().

Terminal box for a solar battery module, a rectifying-device unit and a method of assembling it

Three bypass diodes () each comprised of a principal body () with a rectifying function and a connecting piece extending from the principal body is bridged between corresponding two terminal plates (A,B). The principal body () is supported by one terminal plate (A,B), whereas the leading end of a connecting pin () is connected with the other terminal plate (A,B). One of the bypass diode () has a polarity opposite to that of the remaining ones, and one of the terminal plates (A,B) serves as an auxiliary intermediate terminal neither supporting the principal body () of the bypass diode () nor connected with a cable (). Since both cable connecting terminals support the principal bodies () of the bypass diodes (), heat generated by the principal bodies () can be efficiently radiated from the cable connecting terminals (A) to the cables ().

Terminal plates () are juxtaposed on a base plate () for electrically connecting positive and negative electrodes of a solar battery module () to cables () for external connection. A rectifying device () spans between adjacent terminal plates (). Each rectifying device () has a bypass diode () and a metal clip () resiliently holds the bypass diode (). A heat discharging sheet (40) is attached to the lower surface of the clip () for discharging heat generated by the bypass diode (). Heat discharged from a heat discharging surface (A) of the heat discharging sheet () is received by a heat receiving surface (A) of the solar battery module () via a through hole (B) formed in the base plate () and is discharged efficiently from the solar battery module ().

A terminal box for a solar battery module is provided with a plurality of terminal plates () juxtaposed on a base plate () and connectable with positive and negative electrodes of the solar battery module, cables for external connection connectable with the terminal plates (), and rectifying-device units () each of which spans between two corresponding terminal plates (). Each rectifying-device unit () includes a bypass diode () connectable with the two corresponding terminal plates () to prevent an inverse current, and a metal-made clip () for resiliently holding the bypass diode (). The clip () is held in contact with a heat discharging plate () of the bypass diode () to discharge heat generated by the bypass diode ().

Terminal box for a solar battery module, a rectifying-device unit

A cable connector is provided that can accomplish routing of cables in a narrow space in connecting solar cell modules to each other. A plurality of solar cell modules having solar cells embedded in a building material are installed on a base board. A positive cable and a negative cable extend from the solar cell module. A first connector is connected to a an end of one cable. A second connector is connected to an end of the other cable. The first connector and the second connector have a flat outer configuration and are connected to each other, with a thickness direction of the first connector and that of the second connector substantially coincident with each other. Each of the first connector and the second connector is connected to the respective flat cable with a thickness direction of the connector substantially coincident with that of the flat cable.

Cable connector for connecting solar cell modules

Connecting terminals ( to ) are accommodated side by side in a terminal box casing ( ). Diodes ( to ) are connected electrically between the respective connecting terminals ( to ). The diodes ( to ) are connected in series via the intermediate terminal mounts ( ). Partition walls ( ) for partitioning diode accommodation spaces ( to ) for at least partly accommodating the diodes ( to ) are formed in the terminal box casing ( ).

Terminal box device for a solar cell module and a connecting method for a terminal box device

A by-pass diode includes a first lead plate and a second lead plate respectively arranged on the top face and the bottom face of a rectifier laminate and extending therefrom in opposite directions in parallel relation to each other. The first lead plates is made thinner than the second lead plate. The first lead plate includes a rectangular body portion and a head portion extending from one end face of the rectangular body portion and connected to the rectifier laminate. The head portion further includes a reduced neck portion. The first lead plate has slits in the zone adjacent the head and neck portions connected to the rectifier laminate, the slits being notched deeply width-wise, alternately from each longitudinal side of the rectangular body portion. The by-pass diode is incorporated into a terminal housing for solar battery modules. In such a terminal housing, the link portions connecting the rectifier laminate to the lead plates are prevented from delamination, even under severe use conditions.
